I Could Be On That Show My Mom Watches

I Could Be On That Show My Mom Watches

Currently I am looking for houses and I guess I officially started looking today. Mom and I actually looked in the paper got some addresses and drove around searching for possible places to live. Mom watches a show on HGTV (I think Meg does too) called House Hunters. Basically people go looking for new pads and they show it on TV. This is how the show would start our for me. . .

Sher Kushrenada is a single compositor working at a printing plant who would like to get out of her parents house. This is her first home and is looking for something in her price range that doesn't need a lot of fixing up. She is looking for a two bedroom home with a big living room for her friends to hang in and a decent sized lot with a garage. Lets see if Sher can find her first dream home and move out of her loving parents home.

Yup, that's me, searching for something reasonable. ^_^ Interest rates are still down and I hope they stay that way. Wish me luck!

Wonderful news! Meggles is working in graphic stuff now! She has also found herself a snazzy apartment that is just four blocks away from where she works! *thumbs up* Sweet flat searching skillz Meg! Congrats on the job and bachelorette pad! Woooot!

Someone is going to be a quarter of a century old tomorrow. *smiles* I hope she has an excellent day! Well, at least the weather will be stupenderriffic! ~_^

Neglectful

Neglectful

I know I have been a horrible, horrible journal owner. I'm sorry KD, I love you, I really do. Yes I do. *scratches under KD's chin" Yes I do. Who's a good journal? You are, yes you are!

I apologize for my absense this summer, but I will make it up to you by writing more, now that I have the eeeeeenternet hooked up again. ^_^

The most recent news. I am so hot I would love to run through a snowbank naked. Yeah, I see your astonished faces and I am that frickin' warm. I am boiling!!! If I wasn't such a lazy girl I would get a fan and find a plug in, but I am a sloth, so lets leave it at that. Besides, it's too damn hot to move! ~_^

I have a cold. *flicks off virus* Yesterday I thought I was getting better, but then my mother said, "OMG Sher, you are burning up! Do you have a temp?"
I quickly said, "Nah, I'm fine. I'm getting better."
Mom: "We should take your temp." *goes to get thermometer*
Kush: "I'm not hot, my bedroom is warm, so it made me warm."
Mom: *shoves temp taker doodad in Kush's mouth*
*seems like minutes pass*
Mom: "Sher! Your temp is 102! Do you wanna see the doctor tomorrow"
Kush: O_O *blink, blink* "N. . . no. I'll be fine." *gets over shock*

Do I have my fever now? Mmm no, I don't think so. I checked my temp this morning and it was 98.1. Yes, I know that's low, but I usually run 97 point whatever, so I'm glad it went down.

I am finally a working girl and I'm doing it fulltime. Yaaaaaay!! And I do like it where I work. Admittedly I should be getting more money, but it is a good starting job and it is definitely giving me experience I could never have gotten in school. As much as I love the people the computers are piss poor and the software is poorer. I almost want to bring in my copy of Photoshop and say, "Please! Please let me use this instead! I beg of you!" However, Photoshop 7 would probably kill my old little Mac. When I started working at SPC I was excited to work with macs and was expecting OS X. What I got was OS 9. *le sigh* It's sad really when they buy refurbished computers from the schools and use them for their company. As a printing place you would think they would want newer equipment. Especially when we the compositors are basically putting the damn papers together. Then I see them wasting money on certain things that makes me shake my head and go "Wha' the hell?" There was a rumor that they were going to put up a new wall for the girls downstairs because we (the compositors) bothered them when we brought ads down. O_o I'm sorry, we don't have to be polite and say hello.

I don't want to give you all the wrong idea, it is a a great place to work. The two head managers of the place are absolutely wonderful guys and I could not have asked for better people to have hired me. They know every employee's name and they always say hello no matter what. Billy & Todd, other management teams could learn a lot from you two! All the compositors are quite the women! They are not girly girls and they all know how to have a good laugh. They enjoy the fact that they are a little off and make it widely known with pride in their voices. I fit right in with the nuts and I told Todd this when he asked if I thought everyone was nuts. They are a very tight knit group and think of each other as family. They laugh, get angry and even cry together. I feel honored to be a part of this family and I feel even more honored that they were so welcoming to me, "the baby" as I am warmly referred to.

There is more to tell about my summer, but it will have to wait. ^_^ *roasting*

Bye Bye Apartment

Bye Bye Apartment

Last night was the last time I will ever sleep in this apartment again and today is my final day. I'll miss this place, but it will be nice to be home too.

Good bye Mr. Apartment, we sure had fun. ^_^

Fuckers

Fuckers

How is my day going? Oh fine, you know the usual, a missing Grandpa and packing. Actually that was yesterday since it is after midnight now. I guess my new day (Sunday) is going alright.

Monday I am moving back home. I am really torn between happiness and being bummed out. My apartment is my home and sanctuary. No parents to yell, bother, or irritate me and I can do whatever I wish. I have freedom and most of you know I need my freedom. Then again, I'll be home, the place I grew up and that means friends, family and fun. Hibbi Town is total crap when it comes to shopping and stuff, but dude, everyone I care about is there. See, I'm torn. Plus, I hate packing and all that junk and I just wish I could settle down somewhere with a job and be happy. I don't need a job that pays a gazillion billion dollars, I just need the simple things. What are the simple things? Obviously I need food, water and shelter, but as long as I have my small group of buddies, imagination and what sanity I have left I am a happy little Kush. Yeah, I like my anime and video games, but I do know I could live without them if I really had to. Now I am rambling, lets continue on to the Grandpa story.

Gawd, that woman drives me fucking CRAZY!!!! Those who know me know exactly who I am talking about. Yesterday (Saturday) Scott called the hospital where Grandpa was staying and he asked to speak to him. The nurses told Scott, "There is no Bob here." "WHAT," my brother inquired with worry. Do you blame him? Fucking idiots! They then proceeded to tell him that they needed to speak to family. Scott shocked out of his mind said, "Ok" and hung up. He immediately called my parents fearing the worst and my dad called right away to find Grandpa. The nurses gave him the same bull shit until he said, "I am family! I am his son, his only son." They then explained that my grandfather (who is doing a lot better, by the way) had been transferred to a different hospital on Friday. Yeah, and we had no idea!!! That fucking, gold digging, whore was not going to call and tell us! Dad called her to find out what was going on and this was her lame excuse, "Oh I guess I should have called you, but I was so busy getting his clothes and stuff." How long does it take to get some fucking clothes!? She could have told someone else to call us! The God damn hospital should have called us!!! We're his family!!! Hellllloooooooooo!!!!!!! She makes me so pissed I don't even know what to do except flail and call her inappropriate names. I think we should do something, but my parents don't want to make waves. I understand their reasoning for this, but I really wonder if it's worth getting screwed seven ways past Sunday. This woman is a horrible person and I hate letting her do this to us and my grandfather. She is only causing stress among my little clan and I despise her for it. I dislike using the word hate, but I can honestly say that is how I feel about her. It makes me feel awful because I do not use that word lightly, but I hate that woman. I hate her with every fiber of my being. It makes me cry to even think I hate someone so much. I've never hated anyone, but this woman definitely deserves to be the first on my list.

I'm sorry. This is just really painful and I needed to write it out. Thanks for reading about my stupid stress.

Beep, Beep, Disconnecting, Beeeeeeeeep

Beep, Beep, Disconnecting, Beeeeeeeeep

That isn't what Lain's "sister" said, but I couldn't put connecting because today I called all the people I needed to call to disconnect the electric, phone and the eeeeeeenternet. So there you have it. It is getting close to moving back home. Few days actually. Geez, the time sure flies, doesn't it?

No news on Grandpa so I can't update on that. Wish I could, but I'm sure we will find out soon.

Last night I went to bed at 1 a.m. after R.O.D. (which is a fun anime to watch) and woke up at noon! Yeah, that is 11 hours of sleep! Ok, I guess I needed it, but wow it feels weird to sleep that long.

My modem is teh suck. (Yes, I did spell the wrong.) I was talking to Luke-san and typing on Blogger and the damn thing disconnected. Grrrrr. *looks at modem* Reconnect you grey box bastard. Reconnect now so I can publish and talk more to Luke-san! No, no blinking!!! *bitch slaps it* Gah! *waits somewhat patiently*

Oh hey! Boston graduates from pre-school today. Woot! Next year he starts kindergarden. Isn't that weird?

Exhorried

Exhorried

Exorried has been added to the Kush Dictionary and you might be wondering what it means. Well, all you have to do is put exhausted and worried together and you get "exhorried."

Yesterday my dad called at about 12:30 and when he said, "Hi Sher" I thought he was going to remind me to cancel my phone and all that jazz. Unfortunately, his next sentence was, "It's not good news." I knew right then he was talking about Grandpa and I was right. Grandpa had a stroke at about 10:30 a.m. and is now in the hospital. On the outside he is doing well, but the bleeding is, or was happening near his brainstem. The brainstem is not a good place to have bleeding, not that any place is good, but this is where the brain controls functions such as heartbeat, swallowing and all those things we take for granted. The doctor isn't sure if he is going to make it, or not. It is difficult for older people (he's 84) to heal and all we can do is wait. Tomorrow Grandpa is going to have a cat scan so they know if the bleeding has stopped. If it has then he has a very long road to recovery. I know for a fact Grandpa is a fighter and he is quite stubborn and will not give up easily, but once again it all depends if his brain stops bleeding.

I haven't seen him in a year and it upsets me that after all this time I have to see him like that. He was so happy we came and I know he didn't want us to leave. Scott, Steph and Boston went down there this afternoon. Scott wanted to go with us yesterday, but Steph was on a business trip in Michigan and it is difficult to drop everything, especially with a 5 year old and a dog. I'm glad they went tonight. Scott worries more than I do and I know it was breaking his heart that he couldn't be there.

I hope the cat scan shows good results tomorrow and then we can take it step by step from there.

There is so much more I could type (most of it is bitching, or stupid shit like stories about food), but I am so tired. "Sleeping" in a hospital all night isn't exactly what one would call as restful.

Bazillions Of Pieces

Bazillions Of Pieces

Today I broke my first plate in my first apartment.

Kush happily scrubbed away at her clear, glass plate as she waited for people to come look at her apartment. She was going to be moving home soon and would hopefully find a job to save up some money. She was in Luke-san's world, Pielea, thinking about Lotus and Avocado taking care of Olivia and Quinn when all of a sudden the slippery plate dropped out of her hand. Sploosh! Crack! Kushrenada swore as she realized her neat plate broke in a bazillion pieces under the sudsy water. Fortunately for her it broke on top of another plate allowing her to easily throw away the mess. She would have been super pissed if she had to pick glass out of her sink.

The end.

Yes, people have been coming to look at my apartment and it is nerve racking. I think it is my private tendencies that make it so hard for me. These strange people come in, look at your stuff and open closets to reveal more of your stuff! I have this urge to say, "Gawd! Don't you have respect! Don't look at my stuff!" However, I know this isn't sensible because they are here to look at the apartment and get an idea of how big the closets are and stuff. Then I think to myself, "When I came here to look around and the people still lived here I did not look in their closets." Today, one guy even looked in my bathtub. I don't like people, so it is hard for me to let people, no not people, strangers look at my things!

Ok, I am calm now. I'm going to go. . . I don't know, look for a fucking job.

Next Gen Consoles Are Here, Or Soon Will Be

Next Gen Consoles Are Here, Or Soon Will Be

Well, can you believe it? The big three companies Microsoft, Sony and who could forget Nintendo are gearing up to launch their next consoles. Am I excited? Um, duh. It is exciting to me to see where gaming is headed.

E3 is this week and I, as usual, am always curious about it. I can't help it. *shrugs* Anyway, the console wars rage on as usual and here is what I think and links to what the consoles look like and what their specs are.

Sony's Playstation 3

I'll start with Sony's Playstation 3 by saying I think it looks very streamlined. From what I have heard about the press conferences Sony came out ahead with their presentation of their console and it's games. Plus, they had a rubber duck demo! O_O So many duckies in such a little tub! Kawaii!!! I wish I could find the pics of the duckies to share, but alas, I have failed you all. There were even little ships!!! *flails*

One thing I'm glad Sony decided to stick with is the backwards compatability. Here are the specs, here are the games so far (Yes, you do see Devil May Cry 4 and MGS 4 *smiles*), and here is what the console looks like and this is the controller. To me the controller looks big, but I won't judge until I hold it in my excited, tiny hands.

Sony has shown a lot of unbelievable footage and right now that's what it seems like, unbelievable. They say it is real time, but it really makes you wonder if they A) touched it up, or B) it is prerendered. The trailor for Killzone 2 especially makes me wonder. It would be great if games actually looked like that when you were playing them, but is technology really that far? Apparently there is a lot of speculation over this very issue. I guess we will find out if the PS3 can do what Sony says in the future. The release will probably be in spring 2006. Whether that is Japanese launch, or North American launch I am uncertain, but I assume Japanese? Maybe?

Microsoft's Xbox 360

Next we have the Xbox 360 and I have never really been a fan of the Xbox. The one big thing that turned me off when it came out four years ago was the honking controller. I have small hands, even compared to other women, and I was unable to get my short fingers to feel comfortable using it. They have made the controller smaller and I commend them for that, but it is still a little big for me. Anyway, Microsoft has realized Sony did a good thing by making things backwards compatable and mentioned in their press conference that the 360 will be "compatable with our top selling game." Wait, "top selling"? Does this mean only games like Halo will be backwards compatable? *confused* I really hope they aren't dumb enough to go through with something like that. I hope they realize it should be all, or none.

The 360 specs are close to the PS3, but they fall a little short. One thing I did find interesting is that the 360 will now have memory cards. I guess they didn't want to save games on the actual console anymore. Here is what the Xbox 360 will look like. A lot different from the current model. It looks more aesthetically pleasing if you ask me and from what I understand they did this to make it more appealing to the Japanese market. The current Xbox did very poorly in Japan. No surprise really. It was huge and I don't think they have many games that appeal to that market.

One thing Microsoft is trying to obviously do is get a bigger market. I was confused about this when the presenter was talking about Velocity Girl and how she will play with the 360 more because she can make t-shirts. o_O What? They should focus on the actual gamers, not Velocity Girl making t-shirts and selling them to a hardcore gamer like Striker. It just sounded confusing and it didn't make sense. *shakes head* I am still boggling over it actually. T-shirts? @_@

Nintendo's Revolution

Last, but certainly not least, Nintendo's Revolution. One thing that sounded cool was that they are going to release the NES, SNES, and N64 games on the Internet so the gamer can download them onto the Revolution and play them. "Sweet classic gaming action," was the first thing that entered my brain when I heard this.

Can you believe the Revolution is going to be smaller than the Gamecube? O_O It's like tiny! However, Nintendo didn't have too much to say about the Revolution. They showed the little black box, but they didn't even show the controllers. I think it is great that the companies are finally realizing that backwards compatablitly is key because you will be able to play the Gamecube games on the Revolution. Of course, I am surprised Nintendo didn't do this with SNES and the N64 since they did it with the Gameboy.

Here is what the Revolution looks like. I mean, dang it is small. The guy said it is the size of three DVD cases. What is up with Nintendo's fascination with tiny things? This article was the closest thing I found for specs. I was disappointed that Nintendo didn't have a lot to say about the Revolution, but oh well.

Like I mentioned earlier Nintendo has a fascination with things that are small and the fact that they are coming out with a Micro Gameboy Advanced proves it. Nintendo, think about this, do we really need a baby GBA? The answer is, no, no we don't. You have the SP and the DS, lets just leave it at that.

This is all I can offer at this time, but you can bet I will keep an eye on this junk just so I know what console I want when the time comes. Which one would I buy if I had to make the decision right now you ask? I would have to say the PS3. It is compatable with my PS1 and PS2 games and their presentation seemed better. *shrugs* If you want to make your own decisions on what I have said click here to watch the conferences in their entirety if you actually care. I for one have not seen them and I doubt I will see them, but I give you the link for your own amusement. I have learned about all this stuff by what I have read on the Internet and seen on G4, so now you know my resources. I hope this wasn't boring and I hope you feel somewhat informed about the near future of gaming. ^_^

Winx Club? WTF???

Winx Club? WTF???

Today I sat down to watch Miguzi. I usually do not watch this block of cartoons on the Cartoon Network, but I was curious what they had on there. I was lucky enough to see a new (Ooooo!) show they have just added to the line up today.

*sobs* What is I wrongwith people? How could they let this crap even air on national television? It was a drool session! The parents were annoying and the dad was drawn oddly. This is a good way to describe the style of this show, do you know those dolls called Bratz? Yeah, picture those as a cartoon about fairies, witches and guys who train to be heroes. The acting was hardly up to par and that really saddened me. However, then I realized it only makes sense since the animation was atrocious. I was only saddened because there were two actors I recognized. Fortunately, none of them were David, or Paul. (Thank you!)

We all know cartoons are made on computers these days, but this Winx show made it very apparent with the odd camera panning and zooming. I'm sure they were trying to make it look "cool", but they failed miserably. The story from what I could tell was just another magical girl show with nothing special. I watch a show on Toon Disney called W.i.t.c.h. and that show kicks this shows ass by far! Disney, I have to admit you did something good with that show and I have to compliment you on it.

In conclusion, Winx stinx. *nods*

Walking In The Rain

Walking In The Rain

On Tuesday I went for a walk in the rain. It had been sunny earlier, but I figured I would just go later. Then about 7:00 p.m. I jumped up and decided to go. I put on my sneaks, jacket and bounced out the door. Once I opened the door of my building I felt cool drops of water hit me. At first disappointment set in because I wanted to walk! Recently my knee has been bothering me a bit and I figured exercise was what it needed. (I hurt my knee my senior year in high school and now it hates me sometimes. ^_^) Moping down the stairs back to my apartment I looked at my door and then back at the door that led outside. I so did want to walk and it was only a little rain, so I bounced back up the stairs and went for a walk in the rain. There is just something about rain that I love. I also adore cloudy skies because it is darker and the sun bothers my eyes. The air was fresh with that spring smell all around me. Some people had just trimmed their lawns so the smell of freshly cut grass lingered as well. Walking alone is one of the most theraputic things for me to do. It gives me a chance to enjoy my surroundings and reflect on my life, people and the future. A peace comes over me that I can't describe because it just puts me in such a good mood that words would not suffice. The sights, the sounds and the smells just engulf me and I realize what a good life I have. It helps me not worry and makes me feel positive about things. Yes, I will find a job, learn to drive, get a car and a new apartment once I move back to Hibbing. Things are going to turn out great and that is the best feeling in the world.

One of the best things about my little walk was that I found a small waterfall not too far from where I live. Most of you know there is a park near me on 4th Street, but the waterfall was on 3rd!!! At first the sound of rushing water clammering in my ears was confusing at first. As I continued walking I saw a metal fence and realized the odd noise I was hearing was coming from the cute little waterfall. I gasped with delight and leaned over the fence, but not too far. If anyone saw me I'm sure they thought I had never seen a waterfall before, but I was so ecstatic to see a waterfall only a few blocks away from where I lived. I vowed to go back and take photos of it with my digital camera, but the weather has not been good. I would love to go when the sun is out so the greens and browns pop out more.

Tonight I am once again headed home, for tomorrow is Jae's wedding shower! ^_^ Yaaaay! I'm so happy for Warumono and Jae and I wish them the absolute best!

I had heard from Tech TV (I don't even think they call it that anymore. *sad*) that there was a cool clothing store online called Jinx, so I decided to finally check it out. That store is sw33t!! I am now the proud owner of 2 shirts! One is a human barcode and the other is a D&D shirt. It has all the dice and underneathe the dice it says, "Choose your weapon." I <3 that store so much and even joined their newsletter to get discounts! *nods* These discounts will come in handy when I have a job. Ok, off to pack for the weekend. *happy!*

Ear Cleaner Monster

Ear Cleaner Monster

First off, is ear cleaner one word, or two? To me it seems like it would be two words, but English is a funny language so one cannot be certain sometimes. Hold on, I'll check the box. *goes to bathroom* *comes back and sits in front of Chichiri* According to the box they are called "Safety Swabs" and there used to be 340 of them in said box, however, the box also calls them "Cotton Swabs." *blink blink* I just call them ear cleaners because that is what they do, clean my ears. *nods*

The cotton swab monster is loose in my bathroom. I dropped a safety swab and cannot seem to find it. *sigh* Perhaps it is not a monster at all. Perhaps it is meant to save people from dangerous situations. It is called a safety swab after all. Maybe that one little swab will teach the other cotton swabs to become safety swabs.

The Life Cycle of a Cotton Swab

A young cotton swab starts out as a little piece of white fuzz called cotton. *imagine a little white fuzz* This is Herby and we will follow him through his life cycle from cotton to safety swab.

Herby wants to grow up and become a safety swab someday, just like his dad, but first he has to find a stick. *imagine little Herby roaming around in a field* The quest to find a stick is very difficult and Herby is well on his way. *Herby gets scooped up by a human hand* Oh! There goes Herby, off to the factory to find his stick. Bye bye little guy and good luck! *Herby smiles*

*Herby is now in a factory* Here at the factory Herby will find a stick and finally become a cotton swab. Look Herby, there goes a good stick! Get that one! *Herby fails to fetch the stick* Aww poor Herby, maybe the next one! *Herby sees a stick that is glowing, it must be the one for him* That a boy Herby! You got your stick!

*Herby and his stick are made into a cotton swab* Now Herby has matured into a cotton swab and will be put in a box with other cotton swabs. Look Herby, friends! *Herby looks happy and mingles*

Herby's box will be shipped to a store where someone, possibly you, could buy him and his new pals! *Herby's box is placed on a store shelf* Hiya Herby! *Herby waves* Oh look Herby, someone who might buy you and your friends! *Kush picks up box and throws it in a cart* Whoa easy there Kush, you got special cargo in that box. *Herby waves*

*Kush looks around* "Damn voices," she states with disgust. *continues to the check out*

What do you think of your new owner Herby? *Herby gives thumbs up* Yes, she does look like the sort who could use a *booming voice* safety swab *end booming voice* in her bathroom. *Herby nods*

*Herby and his buddies are in their box in Kush's bathroom* Herby waits patiently while his new owner, Kushrenada, takes his friends to clean her ears and then throws them away. Don't worry Herby, your day will come. Look, here she comes, could today be the day? *Kush grabs Herby and drops him* Go Herby, this is your chance!!! Beocome a safety swab!!! *Kush looks for ear cleaner, but no luck in finding him* *Herby scitters out of sight* Now Herby, transform! *Herby glows and yells, "Safety Swab!!!"* Look at you now Herby, you are a safety swab! Congratulations, now you can help your friends become safety swabs and protect Kushrenada from any bathroom accident. *Herby cheers as he glows with delight*

Well kids, now that you know how to become a safety swab, you too can become one, just like Herby!

The end.

Umm, I know I'm a little nuts, but please don't throw me in the loony bin. *blinks* Unless Dr. Muraki is there!!! Then lock me up and throw away the key!! ~_^

After all this nonsense, all I wanted to say was Happy birthday Meggles!

I Should Eat My Fruit

I Should Eat My Fruit

Hunger has come over me, but I'm too lazy to go to the fridge and eat the strawberries I bought. I wonder if they are still good. *ponders* Maybe if I get curious enough about it I will go check. Hmm, but if they are ruined then there is the disappointment of not eating them and then I would still be hungry. Of course I would be by the fridge and in the kitchen so then I could just make myself a strawberry waffle, which I love.

. . . Yeah, I'm still here.

Can you tell I am waiting? *wiggles toes* I have another 15 minutes to wait before Kate comes online so I can show her how to go into the Shadow Lily web site and update it.

Since I'm waiting I should tell you about a weird dream I had. I dreampt I was a character in the show Jimmy Neutron. Yeah, I thought wtf too when I woke up. All I remember is writing a song for class and Mrs. Fowl didn't even care to look at it because she figured I did well enough. o___O Ummmm, ok. And then somehow I was washing her dishes! *looks even more confused* The washing dishes thing really creeps me out. Was I her bitch???

Ok, I'm going to go look at the strawberries and hopefully make a meal out of them.

Lamp Freak

Lamp Freak

My mother has told me, "I have this feeling you are going to collect lamps." I do have odd lamps, more than anyone that I know of, but I never really thought about it as a collection. I still don't really. However, today at Target there was an adorable lamp that looked like a mini chandalier. I looooooove chandaliers and I had to buy it. I now have another lamp added to my "collection." It is happily hanging from my ceiling with cute little danglies and it makes a wonderful design while it is turned on! *goes out into living room to stare* *comes back* So neat!!!

I have had a story floating around in my head and I think I will start on it tonight. I do have a prologue started for it and now I need to write up some characters and an outline. I don't really foresee this as being a novel. I think it would be a good short story with a cool ending. ^_^ I'll update on it. I won't actually put the story up hear, but if it gets written and you are curious just e-mail me and I'll e-mail it to you.

My weekend was a ton of fun. Luke and I played a little D&D, saw a movie and just hung out. It was quite relaxing. Boston's b-day party was Sunday and I met his little buddy. Seeing two of them together really makes me not want kids. Don't get me wrong, my nephew is one of the most precious things in my life, but children really wear a person out! I wonder if five year olds have a conspiracy to drain adults of their energy? We only stayed at the party for 3 hours and Mom, Dad and I were exhausted! After the party I went and played D&D with Kate and Mike. *falls over laughing* Fahkir never stops getting himself in trouble!!! His jealous goddess honey got pissed when he had some fun with twins. He didn't understand why she was upset because he is all about open relationships! And here is one tip from Fahkir to the rest of you. Think of this as a public service announcement.

Fahkir walks in and sits on a stool. The background consists of grey fabric draped casually.

Fahkir: *smiles* Hi, my name is Fahkir Amour. If you are thinking of falling in love with an evil goddess don't get into a relationship with her. It is best to stay away, especially if you are a mere mortal. If you do get into a relationship with her, please don't be a fool and try to break up with her. Let me show you what happens when you try this. *pulls out an egg and a frying pan from his bag of holding* *holds up egg* This is you not in a relationship with an evil goddess. *sets egg on stool* This is you if you do get yourself a goddess girlfriend and try to break up with her. *smashes egg* *holds up frying pan with dripping egg* Please, think before you act and don't do evil goddesses. Thank you.

The public service announcement fades to black.

Speaking of Amours, Lotus is a happy girl. Avocado surprised her by freeing her soul from her grandfather. However, she fears for Avocado and hopes her grandfather doesn't get too mad when Avocado doesn't really keep up his end of the deal. Lotus and Avocado are in Pielea now and will be going through a castle with Sakura, Anubis, Quinn and Olivia. That will be quite an interesting party, that's all I have to say. *laughs*

Chichiri Is Singing The Blues

Chichiri Is Singing The Blues

My cute little Chich was making a funny noise on Monday. ;___; I hope he is ok. Right now he sounds fine, but I'm still bringing him in to get a check up. I hope whatever is wrong with him they can fix. It sounded to me like the little fan is. . . loose, or something. Thank goodness for warranties, that's all I have to say.

Since Chich and I are going to be away from each other *snuddles Chich* I figured I may as well come home for the weekend. ^_^ All my work is done. . . OMG I should back up my stuff just in case they make something bomb!!! Good thing I thought about it. Anyway, all my work is on Chichiri, so no sense for me staying here at my place when I can be home partying. Yeah, go clubbing and get drunk because that is what I do. I don't do geeky, fun things like D&D.

Here is more news about broken electronic stuff. My PS2 has finally decided to say good bye by giving me read disc errors on any disc I put in it. *sigh* Damn Sony and their cheap parts. Hey!!! The two things that are broken are Sony products! Is this some kind of joke, or a cruel reality of faulty products? You be the judge.

I am happily working on my new theme for my portfolio web site. I'm very excited about it really, but I can't seem to get into making the graphics. *shrugs* I have them started and I have Photoshop open, but other things seem to distract me. For instance, dice, lamps and Hello Kitty watches. (I'll bring that home for ya Jae.) They all stare at me telling me to do other things. "Read a book," urges the lamp. "Look! We have numbers," the dice mention as they sparkle in their brilliant colors. While the watch says, "I have a cute little cat with a red bow on me. Stare at my feline cuteness!!!" How could anyone resist that? HOW!?!?

Interview In The Sahara

Interview In The Sahara

It was really hot having my interview for a web position in the desert. I don't know what they were thinking. ^_^ Actually it was a good temp and the interview went well. They aren't hiring right now, but I'm just glad I got my name in there. The guy who interviewed me seemed really nice and the interview was done in a skywalk. I got to enjoy the downtown/lake scenery while showing my work. If they aren't hiring now, then maybe sometime in the future.

Meg and I went to see the movie Sahara and it turned out to be better than I thought. A lot of things were coincidental, but it didn't really ruin the movie. There were a ton of well done action scenes and the characters were likeable. You believed they were friends which made the one liners amusing. This film may never win an oscar, but it is definitely worth taking a gander.

Just Felt Like Typing

Just Felt Like Typing

Have you ever had one of those days where you felt like typing? You don't really have much to say, but you still feel like you want to babble at the world? Well, today is one of those days for me.

Today is Char's birthday! Happy birthday Char!!! Whooo! *puts cake and balloons in box* *ships box full of stuff* Gee, I hope the cake stays fresh and the balloons don't deflate.

Lately I have been playing Lotus Amour, Fahkir's older sister. She is a chaotic good tiefling who dislikes what her family does, but she still cares for them. All of them are evil except her and she is really stuck between a rock and a hard place. She really wants to distance herself from them, but it is extremely hard, especially when they keep bugging her. She hates the fact that she has demon blood running through her veins and wishes she was just a normal human and she hides all her demonic traits.

Recently, she has met a ranger named Avocado. (This is Luke-san's character and I made Lotus just so they could meet.) He is very hard to predict and never ceases to surprise the waddlefuzz right out of me. He is very cold toward her and yet he did nice things. For instance, Avocado had his sweet, kick ass bow taken from him and she said she would help find it. Well, she had been working her cute little butt off to find out what was going on. She learned that a farmer was missing and wondered if this had anything to do with all the angel attacks that seemed to be going on. She wanted to talk to the family, so she went to visit Avocado at his inn room and told him about the farmer hoping he would join her. She said she was going to talk to the family and he gave her a whatever attitude. It was evening, but it wasn't all that late, so Lotus decided to go right then at that very moment. Avocado acted like he could care less about what she did. Lotus cheerfully headed out of town and Avocado, shocking me as usual, followed her to make sure she didn't get into any trouble. She, at the time did not know he followed her and stopped an angel from attacking the family. Avocado was surprised himself that the stupid girl, who looks for trouble could handle herself in a fight.

Fahkir, as most of you know is an angelic hunter and therefore Lotus knows Bahari Bade, Fahkir's mentor and father figure. Avocado hates him and tries to kill him every time he sees him. Lotus had asked Bahari about some information, mainly how to make sure an angel is dead and he gave her some good angelic hunter advice. Like most good, bad guys Bahari wanted something in return for this info. A simple picnic with a pretty lady was all he wanted. Lotus, not really liking Bahari didn't think this was too terrible and agreed. As they were walking out of town they met Avocado. I'm sure you can all guess what he did. Yes, he tried to kill Bahari. Lotus freaked out because she knows her little brother (she is real confused about the family issue) would be devastated if Bahari died. Bahari was just knocked unconscious and Lotus saved him by stopping the bleeding. (In other words, she made her heal check. ^_^) Avocado said she was exactly like her family for protecting him. This made her angry and they argued. She only wanted to protect someone her brother cherished. She is the first born out of the Amours and you could say her big sister instincts kicked in. (Luke-san told me later that he had to roll to see if Avocado would have killed Lotus as well. Apparently the dice like her and she was spared.)

Later on Avocado met a demon hunter named Treize Kushrenada. Our favorite little demon hunter had let Lotus get away before, but a certain someone (Avocado) told Treize that she was evil and she was helping the angelic hunters. Treize wasn't really down with that, so he did his job by killing a demonic thing. Riley would kick his tushy if she knew, but she doesn't. Now Lotus is dead. When Treize finds out that she was a good person and not evil at all he is going to freak out. I also need to send Avocado on a guilt trip because he let it happen. Bad Avocado, BAD! If they do decide to bring her back it is going to be quite a difficult process. Lotus' mother, an evil, evil woman sold her own daughter's soul to her (as in mommy dearest) incubus father to be his favorite. Nice huh? Well, now he has her soul and doesn't really care if it's his grandchild.

Gee, for not really having much to say I sure typed up a long entry. *laughs*

Stomp To The Beat

Stomp To The Beat

*looks up* What are they doing up there! *points up at ceiling* It sounds like a herd of elephants decided to move into the apartment above me and are having a rave, without the music. o_O Whoa, what was that? *looks up again* Are they jumping, or wrestling maybe?

. . . Ok, I think it has ended. I am so curious about what they are doing. The thought of DDR has crossed my mind. *pokes ceilng* "Hey, you play DDR up there?" Hmm, no response. Oh well, at least the annoying stomping has ended.

One day I swear they had a jack hammer up there. My ceiling fan and walls were shaking from it. I love my apartment, but unfortunately you have to have neighbors. Yay. *waves banner*

Loaded To The Gills

Loaded To The Gills

Now you are probably wondering the age old question, "Does Kush have gills?" The answer to this question is a most definite yes.

I am Kush, the smiling pirana.

One day in South America a smiling, little pirana named Kush was tired of the water. Sure there was lots to do, like swim freely in the Amazon River, but Kush wanted more. There was a whole world to take over, I mean, explore. ^_^ On that fateful day a corporate executive decided to dump toxic waste in the Amazon River. Thinking of how to escape the river Kush swam, unknowingly, into the area of toxicity. The smiling, little pirana felt a little funny and started to swerve a bit. Before she knew it she had legs, arms and looked like a human.

"I'm free," she shouted in pure delight.

Her first few months as a human were quite spectacular. She took over the world with her appetite for power and became feared by all.

The End

*laughs* I know I'm a complete Lunatic. You can thank. . . my parents for it.

Now that the story is done I can tell you about my day on Wednesday. I went to get food because Kushes need to eat. Unless you are the Kushes from Maiestus, then you don't need to eat because you would be an outsider. So anyway, I got milk because I tend to be a moo juice fiend. I also got yummy strawberries!!! Mmmm, nummers!!! *bounces* I was walking down the sidewalk to my little apartment place and I dropped my milk. *cries* The darn jug broke and milk was pouring out all over the place. *sighs* This sad little Kush opened it up and dumped the rest in the grass. The sad thing was that I was soooooo close to getting to my door. So close!!! Oh well, I will survive. I learned a valuable lesson, don't carry so much.

Not much else has been going on. Just the usual. I still have a smidgeon of that cold, but it is basically gone.

A Lot Of Snot

A Lot Of Snot

It never ceases to amaze me at how much snot one can actually hold in their sinus cavities. I mean geez!!! So, my cold is getting better. Wootness!

The Incredibles is a stupendous movie! I really think Pixar is a wonderful, creative company and if you are looking to hire someone named Kush then here I am. Pixar has seperated from Disney and I think this will be a good thing. I cannot wait to see what they come up with in the future. I saw a promo for Cars and it didn't really look like something I would like, but I felt the same way about The Incredibles when I saw that promo. Then when I heard all the great reviews and stuff I changed my mind and wanted to see it. Usually, things like good reviews don't change my mind, but I have always enjoyed Pixar movies, so that is what changed my mind, Pixar's usual quality and creativeness. Unfortunately, I was unable to see it in theaters, but the extras on the DVD are sweet! I love the Jack-Jack Attack. Adorable! What I'm saying is, is that I will go see Cars because I have faith in Pixar. However, there is that old saying, "What goes up must come down." and maybe it is time for Pixar to make a movie that isn't all that great. I will hold my critisism until it comes out in summer 2006. Yeah, they have a long way to go, so I really think it will end up being a cute movie just like all the others.

I finished Ayashi no Ceres. *blink blink* I'd put it on the same level as Gravitation. It's craptacular, but you watch it because it holds some interest. There wasn't much comedy in it and too much angst. Not that drama and angst aren't good things, but dang Aya sure was stupid and that made it hard when she complained about stuff. The show would have been better without Aki and Aya; too bad they are the main characters. It isn't an anime that I would buy and I'm glad I was able to borrow it.

*sniff* --_--

*sniff* --_--

This year I have been sick twice already. First I had a tummy bug and now I have a frickin' cold! Honestly the cold isn't that big of a deal, but I still feel like crap. Why is it that when I go home I get sick? I went home for Christmas and I was about to come back here and I got sick. I go home for Easter and I come back with this lovely cold. Is this a conspiracy? Are you people doing this to me on purpose? *glares* Come out with it and tell the truth!! I know what you have planned! You want to infiltrate my base of operations and you figure if I'm out of it with some kind of virus it will be easy to do so! A simple cold shall not stop the Kush! She conquers ALL!

^_^ *blows nose* Yeah, I'll be just fine.

Lately I have been watching Ayashi no Ceres. Um. . . yeah. I have this small debate going with myself. Who is more annoying, Aya or Miaka? You see I might have to say Miaka, but Aya sure is a close second. See the only reason Aya might be slightly less annoying is the fact that she transforms into Ceres. Aya herself is a total drama queen. "Oh Toya, I love you! Please love me! Oh Yuhi, don't love me because I love Toya!" Blah blah blah. So far I only like two characters in the whole show. Tsuzumi, another celestial descendent and Wei, who hates Toya for some reason. *shrugs* I don't think he hates him for any particular reason other than they kind of have a rivalry. I was bummed when Toya kicked Wei's ass because I wanted Toya to suffer a little bit. Did that sound evil? Anyway, Aki, Aya's twin brother is a total dork and I would love to see Toya do some major ass whooping on him. "I'm going insane and I want Ceres because she is my woman even though it is technically my sister. I'm jealous of Toya because she wants to be with him. Grr." If I had a choice of watching Ceres, or Fushigi I would pick Fushigi. At least the characters in that show are more likeable. I mean how could you not love Chichiri no da? And who could forget Hotohawty!?

Saw is a crazy movie. It was ok, but it isn't the best. The ending was pretty cool and I didn't expect it. Not much else to say about it really.

Now I shall go eat some lasanga. Mmm, food that I can't taste. Yummy.

Well Duh!

Well Duh!

The Monk
You scored 18% Cardinal, 64% Monk, 41% Lady, and 37% Knight!

You live a peaceful, quiet life. Very little danger comes your way and
you live a long time. You are wise and modest, but also stagnant. You
have little comfort, little food and have taken a vow of silence. But
who needs chatter when just sitting in the cloister of your abbey with
The Good Book makes you perfectly content.

My test tracked 4 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender:
You scored higher than 17% on Cardinal
You scored higher than 86% on Monk
You scored higher than 20% on Lady
You scored higher than 45% on Knight
Link: The Who Would You Be in 1400 AD Test written by KnightlyKnave on Ok Cupid
Ok, so I live pretty comfortably and I am extremely greatful for that. I would definitely be content reading a book in my little abbey and not being disturbed by anyone. I'd be a goofy monk and I wonder if I would be able to keep my vow of silence. Honestly I think I could, but when my vow was over I'd be a little chatter box and the other monks would probably kick me out. *laughs*

SLS Test

SLS Test

Well, the Shadow Lily Syndicate site is up. I put the menu system in and all that jazz. I would appreciate it if you guys tested it for me, so I can get some feedback. Do all the buttons and stuff work? I haven't done a spell check yet, but I'm kind of tired so it can wait.

Now all I have to do is finish my site. Woot portfolio junk!

Shadow Lily Syndicate

Shadow Lily Syndicate

I have been working on a web site for Kate and it is for World of Warcraft online. She has started a guild and asked if I could make a site for her. I am in the very early stages of the process, but so far I think it is looking good so far. I am going to make some changes and it obviously needs a menu system, but what do you guys think? Do you think it has the workings of a portfolio piece?

I hate to say it, but I am really rusty in Dreamweaver. *sighs* I think I'll a) buy a book on Dreamweaver, or b) get a book when I go to the library on Friday. I think I'll look for a Flash book too.

I am also thinking of new ideas for my own web site. I might keep the world theme, but I'm not sure. I do like the compass I made for my map resume and I would love to have that on my site.

Oh, and happy St. Patti's day!

Maturity Level

Maturity Level

I am extremely mature for my age. If someone ever told me that I wasn't mature I would strongly disagree with them. For instance, when I found a site that sold software where you can type in any word, or phrase and an animated character will say what you typed; I chose words like, "debonair" and phrases like, "I am successful and charming." The thought never crossed my mind to type in swear words, or silly phrases like, "Fluff monkies." No, I stay clear of things like that because I am an adult. I am mature and I do not type silly things like that for fun. I do not find it amusing to make an animated say, "Ooo, baby." If you do go to this site, I ask you to be mature and do not make Crystal, or Simon swear.

The last few months my buddies have been playing D20 future/modern. *flaiis* Duuuude! I have been wanting to get away from the D&D setting for so long!!! It sounds fun to role play in space! I mean, helloooooo, aliens!!!

When I do get my ass home (notice my maturity) I am going to play a spy/stripper named Passion. *nods* Does everyone else think that is a good name for a spy/stripper? She has no last name because as she says, or will say, "In my line of work, you don't need a last name." In both lines of work she doesn't need one, so I thought that would be her line if anyone asks about a last name. Hey! Stop rolling your eyes! ^_^ When she is clothed she will wear shiny yellow. As a child my favorite color was yellow and I sometimes wonder if yellow is still secretly my favorite color. Anyway, she will have red hair, hazel eyes and a thing for nerds. If it came down to a hawt man and a nerd asking her out she would date the nerd. She thinks brains are sexy. That is Passion in a nutshell. Oh and Jae, if I play her I want laser lipstick as a gadget. *big grin* I love being a total freak.

Zoomquilt Of Sweetness!

Here is a really cool thing that I know all of you will enjoy. The detail is amazing! Can you imagine the time it must have taken to make it! If you are still reading then shame on you! Click the link!!!

I'm probably going to be moving out of my apartment at the end of the month. *frowns* I don't want to go home, but what am I going to do? I can't afford to stay here without a job, so back to Mom and Dad I go. *sighs*

Wasn't that zoomquilt sweet? Seriously very cool.

Jitters And Job Hunting Fun

Jitters And Job Hunting Fun

Happy March first everyone. Is it a holiday? No. Today I went to a place where they help you find a job. The job search is really bumming me out. There are web jobs, but you need years of experience and you need to know ASP, .net, java, you name it companies want you to know it. Fortunately, the guy who is helping me now has told me some good news and some bad news. Good news, I don't have to be a master at these computer languages. Bad news, (which isn't really bad, but very time consuming.) I have to study these cute little languages. He said it would be good just to be somewhat familiar with it. More good news, he said he liked what he saw on my resume. I sent an e-mail version for him and he sent it back saying he "changed it." Before I had "OBJECTIVE" and "SUMMARY", but he changed those to "Personal." Hmm, oh well. I guess he knows what the companies he works for want. Right? >_>;

After I visited Mr. Jobman I went to a coffee place a few blocks away called Jitters. I had always wanted to go there and see what it was like and I have to say it was fun. It was a cozy, lazy atmosphere and the Jitters employees seemed real friendly. You can tell that there are definitely regulars. It was such a neat little place and I would love to go there with you people, my friends sometime. I suggest not getting the French roast brew if you really do not like bitter tasting coffee. Whew!!! ^_^ However, I enjoyed it black with a chocolate chip cookie. I'm so weird that way. Some things I like better without stuff added to it. For instance, green tea, I hate it with anything sweet in it. I like it better straight. *shrugs* Do you think I'm killing my taste buds? *laughs*

I saw Phantom of the Opera. It was a good movie, but I really wanted to slap Christine and Raoul. I can't compare it to the book, or the musical so I can't tell you how close it came to either of them. There were scenes when I wondered, "Isn't she cold???" Christine at one point was in the snow with what looked like a light cloak and her chest was totally exposed. I wanted to shout, "Dude, put a sweater on! *points* Seriously, you are going to get something!" The Phantom was a cool character and you felt bad for him. ^_^ Grey villians rule da opera hizous! And Jae, thank you for the word "chandesquished."

Constantine was a fun movie to watch. Gabriel had sweet pants with strings laced up the calf of the legs. I want pants like that! Strings and bobbles on anything is cool. *nods* *SPOILER!* Ok, I don't know if this is a spoiler, or not, but one thing I would have changed about the movie would have been Satan. Satan was a middle aged man with a hint of a southern accent. O_o Huh? I would have made him all suave and sexy, or really horribly ugly not in between. My reasoning behind this is Lucifer was one of the most beautiful angels in heaven and when God cast him out he made him a hideous freak. This is why I think they should have made him hawt, or freakishly ugly. My favorite character in that whole movie was Papa Midnight. I hope I didn't ruin too much of anything for those of you who haven't seen it.

Elektra, Not Very Elektrafying

Elektra, Not Very Elektrafying

Ok, so the "Elektrafying" thing was pretty bad. I know. A long time ago Kate and Mike came to visit me and we went and ate Chinese and saw that movie. Wow, that movie sucked. I didn't expect much from it to begin with, but man what a let down. I haven't seen the Daredevil movie and I was always curious about it, but now that I have seen Elektra and Kate and Mike say that this was better than Daredevil my curiosity has faded. I guess I have seen worse, like last Sunday I watched a horrid chick flick called Firelight. *sticks tongue out* That movie was total crap. The sets were so drab and it was all angst. Plus, it was way too predictable. Come on script writers, throw a little twitst in.

So much to say and I have forgotten most of it. February is a month full of birthdays. ^_^ You know who you are, so happy b-days even though they have passed.

My nephew cutes me out. He wants to sleep over and play video games with his auntie. *hugs him* I hope someday he can stay. I know we would have a BLAST!!! Video games, aliens and astronauts, cartoons and other fun kid stuff! *pokes big bro to let his son stay with his auntie*

I want to see that movie Constantine! Damn that movie looks wicked sweet. Ok, so Mr. Reeves is in it and I don't really care for him, but it really sounds like something I would like.

I go to channel 6 tomorrow to get my dub of my web site commercial. Yay! I have seen it on TV by the way, thank you very much. *grins* I was so excited to see it! I bounced about giggling. I'm a total freak, I know and I thank all of you for putting up with me! ^_^

Well, this is the end of this entry because I can't remember anything else to write. Maybe later I'll remember more.

Scrappy Doo We Love You

Scrappy Doo We Love You

On Thursday my brother lost his best furry friend. This last week Scrappy wasn't doing very well. He couldn't walk any more, he whined when no one was there and he must have been hurt. Scott and Steph made the decision to bring him to the vet to put him to sleep. He will be missed.

The fact that Scrapper is gone hasn't really sunk in yet. I do miss him though. He was 13 years old which is pretty good for a dog. He had a good life with Scott, Steph and the little munchkin. They plan on getting a puppy soon. I think that will help. Ping will be happy to have another dog around too I'm sure.

I will never forget the first time Scott and Steph brought Scrappy home. Scrappy was the cutest puppy! We have a bookcase with glass sliding doors and Scrappy saw his reflection and started to bark at himself. We laughed so hard because he thought it was another dog. That night Scott and I slept with him in the family room on the fold out couch. I'll never forget that.

We love you Scrappy and we'll miss you.

Two Years And One Day

Two Years And One Day

Can you believe I forgot my blog's birthday yesterday!! I mean, how awful of me. Well, this little blog has reached terrible twos. Isn't that cute! *ruffles blog's hair* Happy belated b-day Kushrenada's Delusions!

My web site spot is going to air on February 21st! *nods* I can't wait to see it! I called Chris to find out about it because it has been a couple months and that is what he told me. They should be using the bus illustration that I made as well this month.

Short entry, but oh well.

People Have No Decency

People Have No Decency

The Maiestus Narratives is a happy, well mostly, blog and it helps me with my creative side. Writing is something I love to do even if I'm not all that great at it. It helps me get in a zen mood and I feel like I have accomplished something. Not too long ago I had to delete a comment left by an ass hole on that blog. He didn't say anything bad about my writing and if he had I would have commented saying, "Hey thanks for the critique. Any suggestions about my writing style are welcome." However, the guy said he got a boner from the story. Oooookaaaaay. I'm not very surprised by this. Some people are rude perverts. *shrugs*

What else is going on? I'm looking for jobs. Is it fun? No, not really. Meggles is in the same boat I am and I'm sure she isn't having fun either. My time is running out and I want to stay here in Duluth. There are openings at WDIO and KDLH so I'm going to once again send my resume and cover letter to them. They responded before, so I'm hoping they will again. ^_^ Wish me lucku!

Harvey Birdman Spot

Harvey Birdman Spot

At the adult swim web site there is a contest being advertised. It sounds like something right up my alley. They want someone to make them a commercial for the Harvey Birdman boxset. This sounds quite interesting and I think I might try. Even if it didn't air it might be a nice portfolio piece. Honestly, I don't watch the show, but I don't think I'm at a disadvantage. >_>;; I have no idea what I'm going to do, or if it is possible for me to come up with anything, but I would really like to try. I have a month to finish everything, so I better get crackin'. *looks determined*

Good news! Naruto picked up finally! I knew that once the Chuunin exams were over things would pick up. Of course, things were a bit slow when Orochimaru and Hokage-sama were fighting. Oy! I thought I would never find out what happened with their battle. I wanted to beat my head on my computer that's how bad it got. So many things were happening that they kept jumping around to so many different parts of the story. It wasn't confusing at all, but it was long. Things are getting interesting again and the show is focusing more on Naruto. New bad guys have been introduced and the old bad guys are being as devious as usual. ^_^ I'm glad they are done with the silly, long battles that go on and on.

Have any of you heard of Shengetsutan Tsukihime? I have been trying to get the first episode for a long time, but it must be rare because it is difficult to find. It has vampies in it and there is this kid who sees lines on things. It sounds kind of weird and twisted. I did manage to download the first episode, but the darn thing was subtitled in French. *sighs* You all don't know it, but I'm a French master! *nods* I watched it and understood every single syllable. Qui' qui'. *shrugs* Ok, so I lied, but I expect most of you knew that. Anyway, it sounds cool and I want it and I shall have it. *cackles* *looks evil* Yes, it shall be mine as well as the multiverse.

Who Am I?

Who Am I?

I'm beginning to wonder who I am. Am I Jennifer, Boyde, or Miranda? Are these new characters I've created and I finally lost it? Hardly. Apparently, these people had my number before, or have a similar number that people mess up and accidentally call. *sighs* Meg said I should pretend to be one of these people, especially the Boyde guy.

Person on the other end: "May I speak to Boyde?"
Kush: "Speaking."
Person on the other end: "I. . . um. . . well Mr. Boyde. . . I."
Kush: "Yes, I'm listening."
Person on the other end: "I'll call back later ma'am."
Kush: "MA'AM!!! Who you calling a WOMAN???"
Person on the other end: *click*
Kush: *snicker*

That would be amusing. I'm sure it wouldn' t really go like that. No matter how weirded out they are I bet they would stay on the line. *grins* It might be fun. Anyway, the reason I'm finally typing about this is because another person called for Jennifer. *shrugs* Maybe I'm not. . . the World Leader after all. Maybe I am some chick named Jennifer and I have been lied to!!! O_O From now on, call me Jennifer! I am no longer World Leader! Jae can take over for me! *sobs*

Heh heh, no way. I would never give up my sweet position ever!!! Don't worry Jae, your nemesis is here to stay. ~_^

Update On My Naughty Neck

Update On My Naughty Neck

It feels a lot better! No more pain and that makes me a happy little Kushrebaka! ^_^

I watched the third Inuyasha movie today and it was what I expected. You can't really expect much from those type of movies because it is in the middle of a series and they can't change anything in the show's story, so everything ends up being the same as it was in the beginning. I guess I think of these movies as another episode, only a longer one. An episode that explains some things and is fun to watch, but I never expect the characters to grow from these experiences. There was a lot of Seshoumaru scenes which made me happy, but he is a baka! "I, Seshoumaru, protect NOTHING!" Ok, whatever Seshi Hon. I don't know why you went to Rin's aid when she screamed for your help. He is so in denial. *laughs* And he may act indifferent to Jaken, but he actually cares for the little imp. In other words, the movie was fun to know the history of Inuyasha and Seshi's dad. Don't expect greatness from movies like this, but you can expect a good time.

In other anime news, Naruto is getting slow. *sighs* It isn't as bad as Dragonball Z, but they are making the fight scenes long. One fight for Naruto went on for two and half episodes. In those episodes they did a lot of history on the other fighter, but it got to the point where I didn't care because he is not a big character. It was interesting, but they dragged it out more than they should have. I did enjoy the episodes with the frog hermit! *giggles* Naruto sure knows how to get his way. The kid is real determined. He can get annoying at times, but for some odd reason you can't help but like him. I think it is because he tries so hard and he has such a good heart. I hope the episodes pick up soon. *nods* I'm sure they will because the Chuunin exams are almost over.

Knotty Neck

Knotty Neck

Look, I made a pun! I'm punny! Get it? Knotty = naughty. For some odd reason my neck has a knot in it and it has had this knot since Friday. On Saturday and Sunday I thought it was getting better, but it seems it is the same as it was on those days. I rub my neck I try to stretch it to unknot the knot, but I don't really know if it's working. It must knot be because I still feel pain when I turn my head left. Yes, that was another one of my bad puns.

This weekend Meggles came to visit me and we went to see A Series of Unfortunate Events. As far as I'm concerned, Jim Carrey did an excellent job at playing a creepy old guy named Count Olaf. *nods* It was a dark, odd story and I enjoyed it. It did get a smidgin too long which is surprising because it is based on a series of books. Meg and I had fun. ^_^

I am reading Angels and Demons by Dan Brown and it is extremely enjoyable. It is about the Illuminati and there is an assassin that reminds me of Marius. He is a cruel bastard that sees women as tools and he likes to snap people's necks.

Kush: "Hey Mar!!! Mar! You should read this book. There is a guy that reminds me of you!"
Mar: "Shut up woman!"
Kush: "Yup, he definitely reminds me of you. Mean freak."
Mar: *comes into the room* "I am not a freak. I am mean though." *grabs book*
Kush: "Hey!"
Mar: *walks out of room reading book*

Anyway, those of you who would like to read a good adventure book about secret society stuff then you should definitely check out Angels and Demons. Meggles is the one that told me about it because she knew I liked junk like that.

Busy Mind

Busy Mind

The mind can be a very active thing and that is a good thing. . . most of the time. Sometimes, however, it can be a burden, especially when you want to sleep. This is my problem. I keep thinking!! What have I been thinking about you ask? Well, if you really would like to know. . .

1) Marius Deathblade. The kid. . . I mean man, is going through a ton of stuff right now and I keep thinking about it. Mar and Will. Mar and Harmony. Will and Harmony both have huge adorable crushes on our bad boy Mar and he's not sure what to do. He's still an attractive guy, even without his right arm. *smiles* It's the arrogant attitude, right Will? ~_^

2) I keep drawing in my head because that was the last thing I did before I attempted sleep. Eraser crumbs are floating around in my brain and they are a bitch to clean out. *nods* I was drawing a pic of Tipsi with a waddlefuzz and I was trying to get the perspective right. *tugs hair* The pic is turning out kind of messy with all the eraser flakes, but I think it is turning out ok for my current skills. I also got the inkling to just sketch whatever and I created a side view of Mar. It is not very good, but once again it isn't the worst thing to be drawn. I draw better than a two year old at least. ^_^ So, no more drawing before bed because the eraser crumbs clog up my brain.

3) Charla's new dog's name is Max. Max also happens to be the name of the head god in Maiestus. (The little world in my head.) Anyway, I found it absolutely hilarious that when you spell dog backwards it turns into god. You know you are tired when you giggle about stupid stuff like that. . . alone. Being alone makes it more pathetic. Course, I laugh at myself all the time when I'm alone, so I'm either happy, or weird. I like to think I'm a happy mixture of both. ^_^

4) @_o *points* That's me giving all of you the crazy eye.

5) I thought of way more stuff, but I can't remember, or it wasn't a major thought of the night.

Well, that's it, but I want to leave you with a couple animated gifs based off lord of the rings. Click here first and then click here. Thanks Jae, this really made me laugh!

Arizona Girl

Arizona Girl

Last weekend my buddy Char came home from Arizona. However, I think AZ is her home now. She really likes it out there and I was priveledged to see all the beautiful pictures she has taken. *giggles* Most of the photos were of Max. Max is Char's adorable shtzu puppy. He is sooooooo flipping cute and it made me want to have a puppy. *snddles little Max* Max prefers his mother, Char, however. He stayed in my arms for a few minutes, but I could tell the little guy wanted to see his mommy. *gets cuted out* Max is such a good little name for him. Max means greatest and I think that suits a little 7 lb. dog just fine. Char told me that he will get to be about 14-15 lb.

On Saturday, after playing with fluffy, little Max we went bowling. The world knows that the W.L. cannot bowl worth shit. I mucho suck at it and I'm not afraid to admit it. The first game I bowled *clears throat and kind of coughs* a 46. Yeah, that is worse than what I usually do. I at least get 60 something. Well I figured that I haven't bowled in like. . . ages. The World Leader is a busy girl you know and she can't go bowling all the time. There is D&D to be played! Anyway, I more than doubled that in the second game. Char and I both tied at *looks very proud* 95!!!! Yeah, I was impressed too! That is the second highest score I have ever gotten in my whole bowling. . . (I don't think this word is appropriate, but whatever) career. *points* Do you see the 9 and the 5. You put them together and you get 95. That, my dear friends, is very close to the big 100. *nods* *sighs* Yeah, that was pretty splendifferous.

I almost went back to Duluth on Sunday, but I'm glad that I didn't because Char and I went to Meet the Fockers. I had already seen it with Luke, but I knew that was one she wanted to see so I figured that's cool. I'm glad to say that it was still funny the second time around. The rubber boobie slays me. I didn't think Meet the Fockers was as good as Meet the Parents, but it was quite amusing. Char enjoyed it as well and then we said our good byes. I really need to get my ass out there to visit her. I have until July 2006 to go visit. I should save my pennies and keep an eye on plane ticket prices. I've never been to AZ before and I think it would be a real treat to see the Grand Canyon and stuff.

*huggles Max one last time* So cute!!!

Anyone Wanna See What I Ate?

Anyone Wanna See What I Ate?

Hoping you didn't say yes to that question I will continue with this entry.

On Monday I woke up to hear my father watching Good Morning America. I felt queezy and the noise of the TV was irritating me. When I go home to Mom and Dad's I don't have my bedroom, or my bed, so I am stuck in the livingroom on an air bed. I got up, feeling cruddy and I made this known to Dad. He made note of it, but at the time no big deal. I got worse as the morning went on. I won't go into details because it would disgust you. I drank as much water as I could, ate some yogurt, and jello. These things stayed in my stomach longer than the other mild things I ate. I only had to deal with the puking and stuff for one day. The next day I just felt nauteous and weak. Yesterday I still felt a little weak, but I would say that I am 100% healthy now. *nods and grins*

Meggles, I believe, is in Florida right now. Lucky ducky. /(^_^)\ *points* I know that's a waddlefuzz, but I figure it could be used as a duck too. Hope you havin' a good time hangin' wit da mouse Meg-chan! I still think you should have smuggled me into your carryon. *big grin*

Luke's character Nox killed a waddlefuzz! I knew he was going to do it and I kind of pushed him to do it. I mean, it's just something that character would do! Poor Ijou-san, it was his waddlefuzz. Ijou is all upset now and has locked himself away. I know someone who can cheer him up. *points at spinning Tipsi* Yeah, that crazy girl. The one who is getting dizzy on purpose to get "high." *shakes head* Do you know how intelleigent she could be if she didn't do drugs? I'm sure Tipsi will type up an entry once she knows all the details of what happened with Ijou's waddlefuzz.

Did everyone have a good Christmas and New Year? I did. I got a lot of great things and it was a lot of fun seeing everyone. I have to admit that it is nice to be back in my own little slice of the world. Granted, I own the world, but this is my favorite spot to be. ^_^
