Web Site Thingy!

Well, I put my web site up on the world wide web. *falls on the floor laughing uncontrollably* Pun intended! Pun intended! Ok, it wasn't that funny, but I hope it put a slight smile on your face. *grins* I shouldn't have put my site up yet bcause it is in it's very very early stages, but I just couldn't wait. Plus, we are having a critique in Steve's class today. Yay. I am honestly getting very sick of that class. Steve doesn't seem like he knows what he is doing. I feel bad for him and yet I'm learning nothing from him. I'm very conflicted. *shrugs* Anyway, it is up and partially working. It loaded pretty quick in the lab here, but I have a feeling that it will load extremely slow if you have a dial-up. Sorry!!! At first I didn't like my design, but it's kind of growing on me. It just seems like the perfect site for me. *grins*

Well, I'm going to go do stuff. *does stuff*

Integra Hellsing

I have been watching Hellsing today and I am falling in love with that anime. It is way beyond cool. You can't help but love the characters. I have to say that Integra Hellsing is my favorite female anime character ever. For one she is the leader of Hellsing, has a bad ass vampire who willingly protects her, and she is quite strong her self. I love episode 10, Master of Monster, because it is this episode where you find out how Alucard came to serve Integra. Little Integra is ADORABLE!!! I want to buy this anime so I can hear the dubbed version. I hate to say it, but I don't know Crispin is the right choice for Alucard. Don't get me wrong! I love Crispin and his work, but I don't think he has the right voice type. I guess I shouldn't really judge it before I hear it. I also want the DVDs because they would be subbed better. Some of the episodes that I have are horribly subbed and it's very hard to read.

Listen people! You do not use all caps when subtitling! Granted it's the font, but you don't use hard to read fonts when subbing! No! Stop trying to be artistic and do a proper job! Ok, rant over.

Anyway, Hellsing kicks a lot of ass and I think any anime fan should see it. Yes, even if Vampire Hunter D is the only vamp anime you like because you will like this one too. *nods head confidently* I know someone from the Otaku Society that said he wouldn't like, but I know he would.

Windy Day In North Dakota

Meggles and I went to Grand Forks today! We had so much fun! We called Char, but she couldn't join us right away because she had to finish her paper. We decided that she would call us on Meg's cell phone when she was done. After finding our way we went to Best Buy. Meg bought a CD and I bought Vampire Hunter D on DVD. I have Bloodlust, but I wanted the first one. Yay me! Then we went to Game Stop and I am a bad girl. I bought Karaoke Revolution. Yeah, the headset is adorable and I pretend to be a person that lands planes with it.

"Hey Pot Head Joe, it's time to land that turkey. Runway 13 is open and you will be landing in 13 minutes. Good luck luck Pot Head Joe, the runway is a little slick today."

Yeah, it is so much fun. I don't have the PS2 here, but Thanksgiving is coming up and I can play it then. Char called us when she was done with her paper and we went to the ground round for lunch. We chatted and had a lot of fun. I haven't seen Char in a long time and I will probably come back to Bemidji with her on Thanksgiving Sunday. We then went back to her apartment! Oh my gosh! She has such a cute little apartment. It seemed so comfortable and homey. I wish I had that now. I soon will though, but where it will be I don't know. Time will tell. Char then had to go to class and Meg and I went shopping at the mall. Tee hee. I bought Christmas presents. Squee ha ha ha ha! Then we went and saw that movie Elf. I was surprised because it was pretty good. It was charming because the main character, Buddy, was so naive about things. It's definitely a movie that parents would be happy to take there kids to. Then we went and had some dinner at Red Lobster. Dude! You get so much food there! I am still stuffed. I got a little box and brought it home. Mmm, shrimp and clam strips for tomorrow. Yay! We came home about 10 P.M. Meg and I both needed a break from Bemidji and Grand Forks was a nice little getaway. I'm going to go to bed now because I'm really tired and I have 8 A.M. class tomorrow morning.

Home Sweet Shopping Cart

After leaving a rantable about living in a shopping cart I feel inspired to write about the fun I would have.

Can you see it? It would be bigger than my dorm room and very shiny. I would have to insulate it so I wouldn't freeze and I could take the insulation out during the summer. It would be nice and cool. I would have to put something on the bottom so my feet wouldn't hurt. Ooo, I could have a water bottle hanging on the inside and I would never go thirsty. People could feed me yummy carrots and *thinks* and. . . and. . . spaghetti? I don't know, maybe sushi? Yeah, that would be nummylicious. I know! There could be a sign that says, "Beware the Kush" and I could act like a rabid bunny. I could pretend like I was a prisoner and say stuff like, "I'm innocent man! Innocent!" I could also sing the cell block tango because I'm cool like that. Then I would get the attention of the local news channel and they would call me crazy and I would agree. It would be awesome! Oh! I could put a motor on it and drive it around! I could jump huge curbs and run out into traffic with it on a windy day! It would be the best! Then it would become a national rage and there would be Extreme Shopping Cart Racing, or ESCR. I would win all the time and then I could line my cart with all my trophies. It will happen someday, you just watch and see. *winks and giggles*

*goes off to gnaw on her new home*

Work Days!

I love work days! Barb isn't here and we can just do stuff. I'm working on making a magazine rack for our comic book shop. *kills Form.Z* Actually, today it isn't pissing me off as usual. I'm glad I like my group. They left since Barb wasn't here, but that is ok. I would leave too if I didn't have Steve's class right after this. Other projects need my attention and they are on Chichiri. If I had known I would have brought my other zip disc. *shrugs* Oh well, no big deal. You know, I would loved to have done this project with Luke-san and Jae. The four of us could have seen a bad movie (Warumono included OF course!) and we could have come up with awesome ideas for our environment. What do you think guys? J-rock store? Anime store? Manga shop? We probably would have done something totally different and made a toothbrush store. What do you think? Would it have been fun?

Well, back to Form.D. . . D as in DIE!!! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!

D&D, Parties, And Cuteness

The weekend put me in such a good mood! It was great! We had Scott's b-day party this weekend and I had tons of fun! I have to tell this cute story because, well, it's cute!

Austin was knocking on my chair while I was eating and he said, "Knock, knock."
I replied, "Who's there?"
A: "Austin."
S: "Austin who?"
A: "Austin Campbell."
S: "Come in. Hey Austin, what's my full name?"
A: "Auntie Sheri."
Everyone laughs.
S: "Did you know that I have the same last name as you?"
A: "Nu-uh. You're Auntie Sheri."

I think that is pretty cute. *laughs* It's great being an aunt!

I also DM-ed on Friday. I had tons of fun because everyone had a blast role playing. The characters were interacting and learning about each other and finding out about STUFF. Tipsi got to see a couple old friends and now the group is going to go stop the crazy Laliec. I am so excited! I thought for sure that we were going to finish my game this Friday, but things change. The next time we play it will definitely be the end. Not of my world because I have total confidence in the PCs, but the end of my game. ~_^

Well, I'm going to go work on my magazine layout. I'm having fun with that too! I'm glad I decided to draw all my own pics and do all the work myself. It is way more gratifying! *opens Illustrator 10* Wheeeee!

Relieved

I'm done with that horrible 3D project. I just couldn't get into it, or get excited about it. Oh well, it's done and over with now. Yay!

My life is going pretty good now. I get to go to the Otaku Society, watch anime, and drool. Yeah, my brain is happy for the break. After the Society meeting I'll probably play either DDR, or Wild Arms. I have been dying to play DDR, but I don't know if I will be awake enough to actually move my feet. Moving the thumbs is a lot easier. Yeah, video games are great ways to escape the real world sometimes.

I have small ideas for a story, but they are so faint that I can't possibly tell them to you. I don't even know if the main character is male, or female. I need to do some research before I start any good ideas. I don't really know where to begin my research because it is such a vast subject. Maybe I'll go to the library and look for some books, or look at encyclopedias. I know I could look on the net, but looking at books is way better sometimes. Well, I'm going to go to sleep, or something that doesn't include a lot of brain activity.

Rendering Blues

I am reporting from the Super Lab folks. It is crazy while I try and finish my project. The odds seem to be against me. Yes, I doubt that I will have this done by tomorrow morning at 8 A.M. Damn my procrastination and damn Form.Z. I am not going to do this anymore. I think the problem was that I hit that wall that Barb is always talking about and I think I hit it hard. I didn't want to do anything related to school. I wanted to give my brain a break and because of that time of slight depression I am behind. In all honesty, I am feeling a lot better. I was very unmotivated and I believe there are reasons for that. Between school and other big things in my life I just wanted to go into a little hole and be alone. Fortunately, I got a ladder and went over this brick wall that I rammed into. I don't know if I should tell Barb that I was having a mental break down because I honestly think she would care. *shrugs* Maybe I will give Ms. Hanus a visit if I don't get my stuff done. I still won't get full points, but at least she would know why. I am happy that I did get over that wall all by myself. I think that is something to be proud of.

I can't wait for next weekend because I will be coming home. Yay! November 18 is Scott's birthday and we will be celebrating it. He doesn't want a party, but that will never happen. In our family you have birthday parties every single year for the rest of your life. I was surprised to find out that not everyone celebrates their birthdays with parties. I have come to the conclusion that we do it because we are a small family and it is a great time for us to get together. Maybe the reason is because we like to party. Who knows. Well, enough of my rambling. I'm going to go surf the net, or draw in my sketch book while I wait for my renderings to be done.

Memories

Hey good news! My archive is working again! I went and reposted one entry from each month that was missing and now it is happy again. I know you people will never go through and read the old entries because that would be silly. It's more for me. I like to read my old entries and remember what I have done and what happened back then. I like to shake my head at my bitching and laugh at my silliness. Yeah, I'm glad I got them working again and I thought it was worth a post.

Biting Purple Snakes And The Matrix Revolutions

Ok, blogger is a fucker. It lost my entire entry. *growls* Now I am starting all over again. *shrugs* I guess that's life.

Last night I saw the third Matrix movie. *bounces around sarcastically* It was a masterpiece! I loved it! Neo is one hot hunk of. . . Matrix particles. *rolls eyes and stops bouncing* Yeah right. There are plot holes all over the place! Neo is a complete dolt! I couldn't believe how dumb he was! It took him forever to figure something out that took me, oh I don't know, a second to figure out. I don't know if the Wachowsky brothers were trying to make him sound surprised, or what, but it made him sound like an absolute rock head. Neo would make a great satue for Autocad.

Neo: Duh, what are we doing?
Other Statue: Protecting the temple, remember?
N: The what? Is that some kind of food?
O S: Nooo! Just shut up!

Ok, maybe Neo would be too stupid for the job. Just forget I thought that. I hope the W. brothers are going to leave it at a trilogy because the ending was open ended. I was happy to see that Seraph had a bigger part in this movie and he kicks ass as usual! Yay! It did seem as if he was babysitting for most of the movie though. Oh well, at least we got to see him. One last rant about the movie and then I’ll tell you about my short dream with the purple snake. This was the sound track: techno! symphony! techno! symphony! church choir! symphony! church choir! etc. I am happy to report that it isn't as bad as the second one. Oh, one last thing. This is not a spoiler, so I think it is safe to say. Obviously, Agent Smith and Neo fight at the end and that fight scene reminded me of Dragonball Z. *rolls eyes* I was waiting for one of them to start throwing energy balls and Neo's hair to turn shiny gold with spikes. It didn't turn out that way, but it would have been funny and disappointing at the same time. Is that possibe???

Ok, I stopped blogging to go to Meggles and meet Emiko. She is a transfer student from Japan and she is soooooo sweet! Juno and Emiko are both sweethearts. Very friendly. This is one thing about college that I love. Meeting different people and learning more about the world through them. Anyway, the first paragraph is wrong now, I went and saw The Matrix on Wed. night. Just to let you know. ^_^

Now on to my purple snake dream. I don't remember much of it, but it was still strange. I dreamt that my mom and I were in some strange city and she parked near some old railroad tracks that weren't being used anymore. The tracks were going right through the street and right into an alley. *shrugs* We got out of the car and started walking toward the pet store. A policeman came and told my mom that she couldn't park there. Mom said that was fine and went to move the car. Meanwhile, I went to the pet store. I walked in and the cages were full of the usual animals, but my eye caught a glimpse of something purple. I went and looked inside the cage and saw an adorable purple snake. I have always wanted a snake and I had to have it. Yay, a cute reptile thing! I took it out and held it for the entire dream. I don't think it liked me either because it kept sinking it's tiny fangs into the back of my hand. Then these guys started hasseling me about my snake. It was very strange. They kept asking me why I was buying a purple snake. This was my reply, "Becuase of Harry Potter." Something must have happened because in the next scene they were paying for my things. My bill was $8,246. Isn't that weird? Yeah, and while they were paying that expensive bill I went to look for an aquarium for my new little friend. That's all I can remember. It's just one of those things I had to share and now I'm done.

I have to go to the lab and work on my 3D project. Yay. *falls over*

My Very Own Elf To Love. . . Platonically

Well, those who read this already know about my little purchase, or should I say lifesized purchase? *swoons* I have no idea why I bought him. . . well. . . ok, I'm lying, how could I not. Legolas is really cool, cute, and *fiddles with his ears* elven. *nods* I remember seeing that standup in Duluth, but he wasn't for sale. You had to enter a contest and win him. I wanted him then, and I still thought about him every once and a while. Then Meg pointed him out to me when we went to the FYE store at the mall. Yeah, it took me a few minutes, but then I realized it was fate. He was meant to be my cardboard cutout, no one else's. I then purchased him. Meg and I were giggling the rest of the day because I had him. We were thinking of all the funny things we could do with him. *goes off in a dream* *snaps awake* It would be FUN!! I am going to take pictures of him all the time! I shall post them somewhere. Here maybe? I'll make another web site? Hmm, I have no idea, but it would be exciting. Tom said that my site could be called "Legolas explores Bemidji." Yeah, that's gweat.

I had a great halloween! I handed out candy and Capri Sun juice bags out to children! Yay! While I did that I watched the first Harry Potter movie with Meggles. Then Warumono and Jaeix came to visit in their wonderful costumes. Mark my words you two, I will steal the dress and that HAT!! *slaps self* I mean, you both looked really nice. I'm glad I got pictures, so I can show my minions what to take when they sneak into your house/dorm room to get them! *slaps self again* I mean, so I can cherish the fun we had with Legolas. Mind you, it was platonic fun. *nods confidently*

Well, I must go and devise a scheme to steal the hat and dr. . . I mean, go and do homework. Umm, yes homework. Damn nanomachines! I think they are evolving! They are making me tell my secrets! Ahhhhhhh!!! *falls over*
