Animating Day

Animating Day

Today I am going to start animating my 15 second spot. I'm so glad it is done. *smiles* I wasn't even sure if I would be able to finish it with all the extra things I had to do. I should be able to get into the editing bay around 11-ish. I hope all goes well when I get in there. I'm sure it will. The animations aren't tough, I think they will just be somewhat time consuming.

I hope Chris and I can get into the editing bay soon to get my demo tape finished. It's so exciting because I'll have commercials on there that actually are airing on TV! I hope this impresses possible employers. I really need to revamp my resume. Bill, a guy that I work with, has two neqhews that work in 3D modeling and 2D animation. He told me to give him my resume and he would give it to his nephews who could possibly give them to the right people. Bill is such a wonderful person to offer that and I will take him up on it. Whoo hoo, contacts in California!

I should really have put up the scenes for my 15 second spot, so you people could see them. Maybe I'll put the last two up, but not the first because I don't have Illustrator on this computer. Maybe I'll just wait until I get home to do it. It makes more sense to do it then. And then I can put all 3 scenes up. *nods* Yeah, expect those maybe later tonight.

Why Blogger, Why?

Why Blogger, Why?

Yeah, I finished up Allesandra's entry and hit the publish button. As a habit I always copy what I just wrote. Well, this time I forgot and blogger lost all that I had written. *sobs and swears* I am so upset! Grrrrrr! At least I don't have to rewrite the whole thing, or I would have to gnaw on blogger. Still, I lost a few paragraphs. Ok, ok, a good walk will do me good and I get to do that in a couple minutes. Damn you blogger!!! I'm calm, really. I guess I'll just finish it tomorrow. I can't do it tonight because my mind is tired of writing Ally's story.

Ok, off to home I go! *flies away*

Stuffed Weekend

Stuffed Weekend

Wow, can you believe it! Two weekend entries in a row! Well, this only means one thing, last week was a short one. Woot for holidayness! Lets see, I went home Wed. night and on Thurs. I did absolutely nothing. You're probably thinking, "Silly Kush Thursday was Thanksgiving. You ate turkey." Not true! I did none of those usual Thanksgiving things on Thurs. because I did them on Saturday. Scott, Steph and Boston went down to the cities to celebrate with Steph's family.

Friday I went to visit Kate and Mike. We played D&D and I DM-ed. I had fun, but Angie and Jon got into a minor argument, so they didn't play most of the game. At least they were kind enough to discuss things privately in another room. Kate and Mike had a blast however and Form Z (my god of obsession) was happy to gain Kate's character, Cammy, as one of his worshippers. The problem is, Cammy didn't even believe that Z was a god. Now she is collecting things like abc gum and sticking it on her platform shoes that she took from a harpy. She thinks the sticky gum will be useful. *nods* Nickolas, Mike's character, is worried about her because she seems to collect and then obsess over her findings. He desperately wants his servant back to normal. *laughs* That was a lot of fun. It's fun having quirky gods!

Turkey Day (Saturday) was a lot of fun because I got to hang out with the family. We had a tasty dinner with all the fixings. ^_^ Mmm, turkey! Boston seemed to be too excited to eat, however. *laughs* "Sher! What Power Ranger do you want to be??? Can we play now? I'm done eating!" I also find this comment funny because it reminds me of Scott and myself. "Hey Sheri, what are you getting me for Christmas?" *tip* Yes, curiosity must run in the family. *is proud* I was kind of surprised to hear him ask that, but I found it very amusing! I then asked him what he was going to get me and he told me without hesitation. Apparently he is getting me a hot wheel (here's the funny part) for girls. *snickers* I guess I should expect a. . . um. . . pink, fluffy hot wheel under the tree that says To: Auntie Sher From: Austin. *laughs* What a kid!

Later that night I went to play D&D with Luke-san, Warumono, and Jae. I once again DM-ed, but this game didn't turn out the way I planned. I had fun, but I think everyone was kind of tired. PC's always surprise me. It never fails. If a party didn't end up surprising me I would begin to wonder. ^_^ Instead of going after the bad guy like I thought they would, they used their heads and had Marius get him for them. This is fine, but I'm not sure if it ended up boring for everyone. Well, it was amusing when Cassie turned Mar into stone, twice! He is so pissed off about that. *grins* Good work Cassie!

I was also lucky to get birthday goodies from Jae and Warumono. These are the goodies: an Orlando Bloom calendar (Mmm), Sherlock Holmes book (O_O *loves*), Ronin Warrior DVD (*Japanese accent* Samurai Troopers), and a cd with mp3's (. . . I shound like Sean Connery)! Yaaaaaaay, and thank you both very much! The Cain rap had me wheezing so hard that my mom asked what I was doing. I love the ending where Cain is singing, "Who let the barbarians out?" That is just silly and I loved every second of it!

Sunday I went shopping and then came home. I had a wonderful, relaxed weekend. *beams*

Pimp Lion, Elves, Vikings And Sponges

Pimp Lion, Elves, Vikings And Sponges

I'm hungry. Anyone else hungry? *looks around* Here eat this! *gives everyone pudding and dirty muffins* *breaks out laughing* Ok, ok! Dirty muffins is way too funny right now. I wonder if I should even be typing this entry at work because my cube will vibrate with my giggles. Eh, I guess I will anyway.

Let me start from the beginning. Meg came to visit me on Thursday evening and stayed until Sunday afternoon. Thursday night we just hung out in my apartment. Friday night was the parade. Rain decided to show up that day, so everyone was cold setting things up and I was lucky enough to help Tam with the party for the clients. Did I mention that it was inside! I was so thankful for that. Well, Meg and I were lucky because we got to whatch the parade from inside. Go my internshipness!

The crazy parade jokes now begin. I know that these will probably be really lame and you will most likely make this face. -----> O_o I will try my hardest to remember all the dumb ass things Meg and I giggled over. Picture a guy in a lion costume with two female lions walking next to him. This is where Pimp Lion was created. How could you not say he was a pimp!? He had two chicks! Hmm, we saw a bear guy with a girl and we figured they had something going on and I wonder if they were friends with pimp lion. We saw a dance group waving their mittened hands around and Meg called their mittens muffins! This is where dirty muffins came from. That was not the only missaying that evening. I have a tendancy to accidentally mix words together. Sometimes it doesn't quite work out the way I planned. For example, we saw that a float had a huge gift on it and the lid opened. I was so excited *starts to wheeze from laughter* I said, *tries to calm self, but can't* "Dude! The lid opens and poop, there's a person!" At that time I had a blink, blink moment. This of course had us going for quite sometime because niether of us are really mature. Then we saw a float that was supposed to be a bus that looked like a crate. I would love to have a bus crate! Wouldn't that be fun! Ohhh! We saw the green streetwalkers! No, they weren't hookers, but sweet, innocent children. They were basically the safety patrol and Meg couldn't remember what they were called and made up her own words to describe them. ^_^ The last thing I can remember is the one-sided camel. Don't forget that camels are snobs and this wooden camel probably didn't want to be painted on both sides. *shakes head* Silly camel, didn't he know that everyone needs two sides? The parade turned out to be a lot of fun and I'm glad I got to see it from inside, where it was warm. Heh heh, poor suckers who had to be outside. Also a quick note of pride, my graphics were used for this parade. They turned out really nice from what I saw on my tape. I was even mentioned in the credits. *nods* Please stop! You're making me blush! No applause is needed. *blushes* *grins*

Ahhh yes, Polar Express. It wasn't the best movie, but it had it's moments. Most of the characters were delightfully cooky and I really enjoyed that. I would have to say my favorite character was the extreme sports Christmas ghost hobo. Wow, does that guy have a long title, or what!? I thought promotions/graphics/news intern was long, but that guy, wow! Ok, now that I look at it we both have obnoxiously long titles, but on with the movie review! So yes, he was totally awesome. I think kids would enjoy it, but I wonder if the elves and Santa would give them bad dreams. The elves looked really weird and this isn't because I'm used to seeing elves like Legolas either. Seriously, these elves looked freaky! O_O And Santa, holy mouse buttons! For some odd reason they gave him a holy aura. O_o Um, what? Did I miss the memo that said Santa Clause was an angel? Ol' St. Nick looked pretty fake. Some of the graphics in that movie looked almost real and then some of it looked really bad, like Santa. I have to say that if you are an extreme sports fan you will probably like this movie. Don't look at me like that, I'm serious. The elves had mad skills in extreme sports and of course we can't forget about the hobo. There was also a Steve Tylor elf, which freaked the fluffy duckies out of me. *nods* It was weird. Yeah, this movie ended up fun because Meg and I were the peanut gallery. I love being the peanut gallery!

Saturday Meg and I went to the omnimax theater to see the Vikings show. I had a lot of fun seeing that and I even learned new stuff about my ancestors. Ok, I will have you people know that toddler hats do not fit on my head. Granted it almost did, but it didn't. A lot of giggling was heard from us as we picked up random objects and plopped them on each other's shoulders and said, "Glomp." I did this mostly because it made Meg double over. I love making people laugh themselves silly! You know, it wasn't all me. I think Meg is megnetic. *points* Look, I tried to make a funny! *laughs*

After the Vikings show we went to see the Spongebob Squarepants Movie. Ugh. That's all I have to say about this one. The most frightening experience in that movie was when David Hasselhoff showed up. Yeah, sorry David, but I didn't want to see closeups of your body while Spongebob and Patrick run up and down your body. Meg and I seriously thought at one moment Spongebob was going to grab David's leg hair to pull himself up when he was falling. I bet if they had the time and money they would have found a way to do that. This was so bad that there was nothing funny to make fun of. That is pretty sad when the peanut gallery is so shocked at the horrendousness that they can't find anything clever and immature to say about it.

Yeah, it was a great weekend. ^_^

This Is Where My Beauty Lies

This Is Where My Beauty Lies

Wow, this quiz I just took was so like me that I had to put it up. ^_^ It was pretty fun! I know Grace doesn't read this, but thanks for putting this quiz on your LJ!

Dreams
J:

Your Beauty lies
in Dreams. Day-dreamer, creative and forever lost
in thoughts. You're a
dreamer, wanting more in your life than you have
now. Though you a lot of your
dreams never seem to leave your own mind. You've
created your own little world
inside that head of yours and you're most beautiful
when your mind is in
the clouds with sparkles in your eyes. You'd rather
be asleep than awake and
people find it hard to have long conversations with
you as you mind often
wanders and you aren't a big fan of reality. You
are long and almost child-like
probably with a great love for Fantasy or Science
Fiction. You're very creative
and most likely love to write wonderful stories or
draw and even sing, anything
creative that you can use that vast imagination of
yours. You're a bit of a
puzzle to people love to wonder as to what is going
in your mind.

For Thanksgiving, I Thank Margo

For Thanksgiving, I Thank Margo

Thanks to Margo I will in fact have Thanksgiving and the Friday after off. I am so glad. She even told me that I don't have to worry about making the hours up. Thank you Margo, I really appreciate that.

I have a ton of stuff to write about, but right now I'm too tired. Plus, I am at work and have not hardly done any work. I just feel exhausted today. I really want to talk about last weekend because I had so much fun, but I guess you can wait to hear about bus crates, hobos, and David Hasslehoff. *points* Yeah, Hasslehoff, not Kaye. *shivers* Gives me the jibblies just thinking about it. *smirk*

I was going to type something else, but I can't remember what it was. Oh well. *slaps self to stay awake*

MGS 3

MGS 3

One of my favorite video game series has released a third installment. Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater is one of those game I have been waiting a long time for. *drools* I have to admit that the first one was better than the second one. However, seeing a naked bishie in Sons of Liberty was pretty fun! It was also fun seeing the strategically placed objects during the cut-scenes! *big grin* I wonder if they will have anything like that in Snake Eater. I mean, it gets hot in the jungle. ~_^

I, unfortunately, will not be able to buy this little jewel. I will probably have to wait until Christmas. I will beg and beg and beg my parents if I have to. "Mom/Dad, you don't understand! This game is the shiznit. You need to get me this game for Christmas. Plus, you got me the other two for Christmas when they came out. Please!? Pleeeeeeaaaaaaase!?" This seems a little childish, but whatever gets the job done I always say. Well, I wouldn't go to major extremes to get it. I guess begging on my knees and crying would be as far as I would go. I am 24, so I'm not sure if the crying thing would go over too well. I can hear my dad now, "How old are you?" *sighs* Then if I don't get it for Christmas there are other options. One would be to actually pay for it with money I hope to be earning soon, or slobbering all over Luke's copy and asking him if he really wants it back. I've talked about licking things to see if people would then give them to me, but I've never actually done it. I wonder if it would work? I could go to Game Spot and suck on the game and walk up to the counter with it in my mouth. Of course, I would be smart enough to have the UPC part in my mouth. I bet they would call security and I really don't want to find out what they do to people who literally drool on games.

Today I saw Brian, the audio guy, and he complimented me on my 10 second spot. *grins* He said everytime they see it everyone says, "Look, there's Sheri's spot!" I don't know if they really do that, but it was nice of him to say. That made my day.

I am feeling a bit tired today, but it's only because I have been having crazy dreams again. Two out of four of the nights I dreampt about my grandpa. I'm really not sure what to do. I'm not afraid to talk about it, I'm in a good mood when I go to sleep and these last two times I wasn't even thinking about him. I don't know why my brain thinks it needs to do this. I told my mom about these last two dreams and she actually seemed surprised by what I dreampt. I can't help feel that something bad is going to happen. Then I think, "They're dreams, don't be silly. You're working yourself into more stress." I never felt this way about my other dreams about him. I'm actually at a loss of what to do, or think. *points at last paragraph* And look, I ended this entry on a icky note. Bleh. It started out so nicely.

Wouldn't a grey waddlefuzz be so adorable??? I was thinking about it on the bus and Tipsi wants to turn people into cute waddlefuzz. She thinks Ijou would be a beautiful grey with a happy telepathic squee! She, of course, would turn people back, but she just wants to see what happens when they are waddlefuzz. Whatch out Kakashi! ^_^

Ph34r The Evil. . . Mouse?

Ph34r The Evil. . . Mouse?

Google images is a great place to find templates to trace. I was looking for a pic of a computer mouse at the angle I needed and found this. Curious because. . . duh, it's anime, I clicked on the picture. So. . . from what I understand, this cute little mouse was a bad guy that wanted some seed? And her boss was Sailor Galaxia? WTF? Ok, so she fails like all henchmice and her evil boss gets pissed off and takes her bracelets. This in turn kills her? Huh? *looks confused* I have seen many rediculous storylines and I have accepted them. This, however, is dumb. The stupider (*points and laughs* I made a word up!) thing is that she has to get a seed from inside Sailor Moon's body? A seed!? And this will allow her to rule the universe? *facepalm*

Kush: Marius, go ahead and put your stamp of stupidness on this one.
Marius: No.
K: What? Why not?
M: The chic shouldn't have had that much power, but she did the right thing by killing that mouse. Your henchmen should always do as you say and succeed.
K: Was that a pun?
M: Was what a pun?
K: Suc[seed].
M: That's stupid.
K: Thank you! Marius' Stamp of Stupidness approved for this anime!
M: You're really pissing me off today. *grits teeth*

Lets see, in other news Gin Ki-sama is going to be the official drinking Christmas tree! During the parade there is going to be a holiday party for the station's clients and my little fiber optic tree gets to be by the bar. Tipsi would be proud! Tam had asked me if I knew anyone with a small Christmas tree. I told her, "I do!" Well, now he is upstairs sparkling in Tam's office. He's so happy to be out of his box. I can't wait to put him up in my apartment! He'll be so pretty and make the atmosphere very relaxing! *snuggles Gin Ki-smaa*

Camera Crrrraaaaziness!

Camera Crrrraaaaziness!

Yesterday I got to get out of the office (Listen to me, "out of the office." Wow.) and go on a shoot at the Holiday Center. Bang, bang! No, no silly, with a video camera, no guns. However, having the actors pretending to have a shoot out would be kind of cool. They could dress up like Solid Snake, Sam Fisher, or even Garrett and take out the security guards! It would be the sweetest commercial channel 6 would ever create! I don't know how it would get people to shop there, but seriously, it would be stupendular! I mean, I would go shopping there just in the hopes of seeing one of those video game characters. *nods* Then I would try to find them (This would be a difficult task since they are masters of hiding.) and get their autographs!!! Snake might be easier to find because I would just have to look for boxes. I could even get myself a comfy box and then when I saw other boxes I could whisper, "Hey box buddy, you around?" If there was no answer, I would go on to other boxes. See, finding Snake would be a sinch! *snicker* "Box buddy." *snicker*

Yeah, I basically went to help Steph, a person I work with, with setting up lights and junk. I had a lot of fun! The first actor, Bill, was quite chatty. He told me that him and his wife, Chris' big sis, own an entertainment company and they do a karaoke show. Um, ok. Well, apparently he even has songs that he made. He asked if I had a computer at home and I answered that I did. He then proceeded to ask, "Do you download music?" O_o "Ah, yeah," I responded politely. Well, he wanted me to search for Willy the warlock on the Internet. Ok, I really don't think the music would be all that great, but damn my curiosity! So, needless to say, I'm going to download it to hear it. *sighs* Well, I hope he's proud of his shameless self promotion because it worked. >_<

Today I went around getting mug shots of people! Most of them were pretty good about it and everyone commented on my "nice digital camera." *is proud* *laughs* I even got a pic of Chris with his Superman cardboard cutout! I immediately thought of Meg and me taking pics of my cutouts. I need to make a picture story with Legi and Gandi. The title could be "Legolas and Gandalf do Duluth", or something dumb like that. *nods* Yeah, I'm pretty silly.

Can you believe the parade is only a week away! It's crazy! This also means that Meg is coming to visit is also a week away. I bought her grad present yesterday. *big grin* I know that she'll absolutely love it! I just hope it doesn't show up at my door when she is here. I will have to hide it under my coat, or get Al from Castlevania to hide it in his cape. Hmm, I could pretend like it is a gift for someone else. *looks at Meg reading this* Curses! Oh well, I'm sure I can hide it from her. *nods confidently* Heh heh, I've done it before, afterall. *thinks of Get Fuzzy book* *grin*

Here's one last crazy thing and then I'm done with this entry. I have finally met another person who is allergic to peanuts. Chris, I found out this week, like me is cursed to never eat peanuts. Steph and Margo mentioned it when Margo was talking about chocolate peanutbutter cake. Mmm, sounds yummy. I wonder if it's good? Have any of you had that flavor of cake before? I had never even heard of it. Anyway, I'm curious if he eats sunbutter. *snuggles her sunbutter* Well, that's all she wrote!

Carrots Hide In Doom Pockets

Carrots Hide In Doom Pockets

They do, I swear! *whispers* I have seen them. *stops whispering* Ok, for lunch I ate a turkey and broccli (woccli) lean pocket. The last one I ate, I swear didn't have carrots, but this one did. I would have brought my usual, (I think we all know by now what that is.) but once again I had to think, "Green skittles! Thwarted by green fuzzies again!" this morning. Darn my one person-ness. I can only eat half a loaf of bread. *sighs* And don't let the name "lean pockets" fool you because they should not be called that. They're simple to eat right? *clears throat* Well, apparently not when you are me. I think most people would say, "Yeah, those pocket things are great! No mess!" Um, no. To put it simply, doom pockets are messy and not easy to eat. They have a tendancy to drip cheesey goo on me. Not on the plate, oh noooooo, on me! And of course it didn't just happen once, no it happend three, or four times. As usual, I found this amusing and started to giggle at my spilling curse. Hey, at least I can laugh. However, I'm sure Bill and Steph once again thought I was missing a sandwich from my lunch basket. =P So yes, there are carrots in doom pockets. You'll thank me for this knowledge someday. You'll be on Jeopardy and the answer will be, "Carrots hide here." You then will think to yourself, "SW33T! I know that one because Kush put it on her blog!" Then your hand will move swiftly to the buzzer, "What is doom pockets?" Alex cheerfully would say, "Yes! Doom pockets! Sorry Ken, but your winning streak is over!" *cheers for you* Of course, you then would feel obligated to give me all your winnings because I'm the one that helped you win. *nods*

In reality, (The lean pocket thing happened, but the quiz show thing didn't and won't. I didn't want to confuse you. ^_^) Margo asked if I could make an illustration of packages for her. This is no problem and I have a really good start on them. This is keeping me away from my 15 second spot, but that's ok. I am happy to say that I know what I'm doing for my spot and it is well on it's way. After my packages I'm going to put my nose to the grind stone (Oooowwww. *rubs red, little nose*) and dilegantly work on it. Don't worry, I will put them up for you to see.

*goes back to work on STUFF!!*

I Need This Song!

I Need This Song!

At work I listen to a sweet little European radio station on windows media player. I believe it is from Spain. They have a french techno song that I would love to have, but alas, I don't know the name. ;_; *sniffle whiffle*

O_O Margo patted me on the back. *looks surprised* I showed her the kid and Rudy, and she liked it. She inquired how I did my shading. I told her that it was the dodge and burn tools. I then told her. . . Wait, before we continue that sentence I need to say a couple things. I tend to lose words when I'm talking. I'm not sure why, but I do. Simple, stupid words that most people do not ever forget. This was one of those moments, so I did as I usually do. I make up a word, or I insert another word into the sentence that sounds slightly silly. Back to the sentence at hand. I then told her that I use the "fuzzy brushes", not the hard brushes. *rolls eyes* This, to me, was hilarious and I broke out in a fit of giggles. She, I am pleased to say, found this amusing as well. She laughed out loud, and since she was in my cubicle, patted me on the back and said, "Fuzzy brushes, got it!" *laughs* That was cool.

I really wish I could stay here after my internship. It's such a nice environment. Granted, it is sometimes tough to wake up knowing you have to spend 9 hours of your day somewhere other than home, but really it is a wonderful place to work. Spending those 9 hours here isn't bad at all. I've only been here 2 months and I have learned so much and gained such confidence in myself. I hope my future places of employment are as nice with the same type of people. I'm really going to miss this place. *smiles*

Painting Fun!

Meg sent me the coolest thing! It is a painting doodledad at art.com! If you click on "thing", then you will see the painting I created. I would liked to have put Meg's painting up, but that is up to her if she wants to, or not. Thank you Meggles-chan!

Chris has seen the child and Rudy, and he likes them. This makes me happy. I'm going to put the finished one up. . . I should just do it now. *goes into Photoshopington to make it into a .jpg*

Done! The best thing I like about this illustration is the kid's boots. *nods* I think they turned out the best. I'm actually pretty proud of myself. If you told me in high school that I would be able to do that I would have laughed and said, "So, I'm going to make a stick reindeer and a stick child?" I would never have believed it. *grins* However, as nice as it is, if there is anything you see that could make it better please tell me. After looking at it for so long I don't see all the mistakes. Same thing as writing. *grins*

No Creepy Rudolphs Here

Well, I hope he didn't turn out creepy. Here is the final Rudolph that I made and if you scroll down you will see Rudy and the kid. Here's a contest for you. What gender is the child. If you answer correctly you will win. . . *thinks* some halloween candy and a hug from ME! Wait, I don't want to scare you away, so no hug and I promise I won't poison the candy. Not that I would. ~_^ The one thing I had problems with was the kid's crotch. Rudy's crotch turned out better than I thought it would, but I'm not sure about the kid's. Hmm. Well anyway, you know the drill. If you see somethin' that doesn't look right, or whatever you know what to do.

This weekend I did absolutely nothing constructive. I did get a few hours of Final Fantasy X in. *narrows eyes and looks at Yuna* You, my dear, have the most annoying voice ever! I know a lot of people would probably disagree with me, but she sounds so breathless all the time. She is the typical damsel in distress. I'm hoping she gets better, but I'm already 20 hours into the game and I really don't see a change. Then again, a lot can happen in another 40 hours. *hopes* Dagger, from FF IX, was way cooler. Too bad more female characters couldn't be like that. I know video games are mostly played by males, but come on. At least make her somewhat capable. One game I would really like to play is Lord of the Rings: The Third Age. It is like FF only with LotR characters. It sounds sweet! A lot of RPGs are turning away from the turn based fighting system and it makes me sad. I know Tycho from Penny Arcade has mentioned this, but I feel the same way he does. I personally like turn based fighting because it tends to be more relaxing. I sit there, take my turns and then the monster takes it's turn. After a long week of work, or a long day, it is nice to sit and hit the attack option. There of course is more strategy to it than that, but you get the idea. Yeah so, in conclusion I had a good weekend of relaxing.

Doofy Reindeer

Ok, Rudy looks kind of doofy to me. *shrugs* I drew a sketch of the scene and I should have scanned it in because it looks better. I don't know, I guess it looks ok? I'll describe what will be going on in the scene. Rudolph just gave a gift to a kid, who is not made yet. He is looking down at the invisible kid. ("Where'd you go kid? You didn't even say thank you for the present!") Don't pay any attetion to the coloring. However, if you think his body is weird tell me. *thinks of what to type* Oh! I forgot to give him eyebrows, so no need to mention that. Well, that's all for Rudy.

Boy, this week went really fast. It seems like it was just Monday. I hope my weekend doesn't go that quick because that would make me sad. Plus, there are things that I would like to get done. Fortunately, I don't have much cleaning to do, but I would like to work on portfolio stuff, 15 second spot stuff, and possibly even Rudy and the kid. We'll see. I'm also kind of itching to play some PS2. *snuddles controller* *growls at passerby* My controller! *hides it under her shirt and glares*

Well off to drawing children and eyebrows.

I Hope My Drawing Skillz Are Up To This

Well, Rudolph is done and people like him. However, Chris would like me to draw him giving a present to a child. *looks worried* I'm going to need a lot of help with this one me thinks. It will be a good learning experience, but I just hope I can pull it off. I have no clue as to how I should draw his antlers from the side, so if you guys have any suggestions they sure would be appreciated.

In other news my 15 second spot is kind of coming along. I of course tried putting the letters on the keyboard and was not surprised to see them pixelate and look evil. Fortunately, AfterEffects takes .ai and .eps files, so I think I will be able to put the keyboard in Illustrator at home and make it look nice. I was somewhat goofing off knowing that I would be putting internship time in at home. I could do it here, but they have Illustrator ancient on an archaic mac. Just to give you an idea of how old this mac is, they have Photoshop 4.something on there. *looks at suprised faces* Yeah, *nods* that was my reaction too. I'd rather do it in Illustrator 10. *huggles Chichiri* I love you Chich. *looks at time* Woot lunch!

A LOT Less Cranky

I am in a much better mood than I was yesterday. After my 14.5 hour day I actually don't feel that tired today. I actually didn't do all that much last night because there was enough people to do the work. I offered 3-4 times to look up numbers and stuff, but my services were not needed. *shrugs* Oh well, it was just nice to watch TV, talk, and hang out. I got home at 12:30 a.m. last night. Dave, a guy from work was very kind to drive me home. I'm glad he didn't have to go out of his way at all to bring me home. He only lives 9 blocks away from where I do. ^_^

I'm glad blogger is working now. I bet a lot of people were blogging about the elections. I'm not going to ramble on and on about it, but I will say that I was disappointed. I mean, sparkles are waaaaaaay cool and none of the stickers had them. *shakes head* Actually, I was disappointed in one other thing. Senator Kerry didn't win and I think America has made a big mistake. Most of you already know my views on Bush, so I will not bore you.

Yesterday I started working on graphics for my 15 second spot. Honestly, I still don't know exactly what I want to do for it, but I do know that there is going to be a keyboard. I showed Chris the beginnings of it and he was impressed with what I had so far. I really hope it turns out well. I think that is my problem. I'm worried about doing just as good, or better. This does not work well! I need to stop thinking about it and relax my mind, but I'm finding it difficult.

Kush: "Marius?" *tries to look cute*
Mar: *looks disgusted* What?
K: "Teach me how to meditate, please?"
M: "No! You know why? Because you had me meet some dumb ass named Bill, Will, Phil. Whatever his name is. He's insane and hyper! I hate him, so no I will not teach you to meditate! Plus, do you realize that you are a weak woman that doesn't deserve to be taught how to meditate? Do you also realize that you are just as insane as that stupid, little rainbow freak?"
K: *walks away to let him rant*

Yeah see, I don't know anyone else that could teach me to meditate in that fashion. I would ask Anubis, but he's busy with Sakura and Willow. Oh well, I'm sure I'll think of something. All creative people go through slumps like this. The problem is getting out of them.

Please Remind Me

Why the fuck am I here? I am sitting in my cubicle drooling. Ok, I am keeping my spit in my mouth, but so far I have just worked on what I normally do during the day. I think Margo might have me do something later, but I'm not entirely sure. Do you think she forgot about me? I have been here for ten and half hours and I have to admit that I am tired. I have been working in Photoshopington all day and I am sick of it. I never thought I would get tired of seeing Photoshop's layout, but it has happened because I can't look at it anyore! *beats head on keyboard* *gnaws on monitor* I guess what I'm saying is that I'm bored. I have a lot of energy and no way to get rid of it. *plays with sticker* I still wish these damn things had sparkles. Do they not know sparkles make me HAPPY! @_@

I have done long shifts before and they were never this boring. If I was kept for a long shift I always had something to do. Here I don't. I could still work on my graphics for my spot, but I'm afraid I will freak out and lick everyone, or something. That would not be a pretty sight, so I think I'll go play games on the Eeeeeenternet. *sighs* Please let me go! PLEASE!!!

I'm Staying Later Than I Thought!

*sigh* Well, I guess this means a 12-14 hour day for me. >_< Hey, anyone want to come to Duluth and see what exciting things happen at a news station? You could be the promotions/graphics/news intern for a day! To enter the contest simply come dressed up like me. What is the prize you ask? Well, you get paid with a free sub and the knowledge of TV stuff! Come, learn and have fun as the promotions/graphics/news intern!

Well, it shouldn't be that bad. I mean I do get a free sub for dinner and probably a beverage too. I'll be home before midnight, right? When do the final numbers usually come in? I mean, we already know who the world leader is and we all know Kerry is going to beat Bush, so I'll be home at 10:30 p.m., right? *starts to freak out* I'm not going to be here until 2 a.m.!!! That would never happen! They would let me go, right? Go home to my bed? To Green Blankie and Mr. Pillow? They can't keep a Kush caged, could they? Ohhhh the humanity!!! :_:

*laughs* Nah, it'll be cool. At least I know that I don't have to take the bus home tonight. Well I suppose, I'm going to read for the remainder of my lunch hour. When I have another break I may post again just for the hell of it.

Did You Get A Fancy Dancy Sticker?

Ph34r my stick3r! As you can see I have been reading too much Mega Tokyo. Anyway, I got a sticker that says, "I Voted." You do realize that I voted only to get the sticker. *nods* It's sweet circleness and white lettering would make anyone want to have it. You know what would make the sticker even better? Sparkles. They could put blue ones on the sticker and then it would be patriotic, er something. *looks at red dot* Yeah, sparkles would make it l33t. Or maybe it could be a scratch and sniff! It could smell like. . . TOAST! They could even have people vote for the new smell of the sticker next year! That would make voting way more fun and I think it would put a smile on people's faces. That, or they would go WTF?

So anyway, don't forget to vote for Kushrenada for World Leader and Jaeix for Nemisis. Not that there are any other choices. No one would dare run a campaign against ME, or Jae! Squee ha ha ha ha!

Operation Rudolph

I have been keeping myself busy with Operation Rudolph graphics. This keeps me away from my 15 second spot, but that can't be helped. *looks innocent* Am I putting it off? Umm, no. Anyway, I had colored the Rudolph they had, but Margo told me later it was just clip art. You have no idea how happy this made me. I mean, she did give me permission to make another one, but I felt bad changing something someone else "drew." Well, it turns out I didn't have to worry and decided to make a new Rudy. He isn't done yet, but I thought I would show you guys to get some feedback. I'm not the best artist in the world, so I kind of need the comments. Another little thing I would like to mention about him is that I don't know what to make out of his hair. I had originally thought of giving him a hat, but I thought I would try the hair thing instead. *shrugs*

I am not looking forward to tomorrow. *sighs* None of us at KBJR are looking forward to tomorrow. Don't get me wrong, it means the end of the dumb political commercials, debates, and we will (hopefully) know who our president will be. This makes me extremely happy, but tommorow is going to be super busy. Plus, I get to work late. How late? *shrugs* I don't know, but I plan to ask Margo when she comes in. It also means that I won't be able to make it to the polls after work, so I have to go before work. Yay for earlier mornings. *waves a flag with smiling sun* Eh, at least it should be interesting and my voteboard and other graphics will be on TV. *nods* That will be pretty cool.

Can you believe I only have a month left here? Where has the time gone? I guess this means I should start working on my intern journal, other intern stuff, and look for a job. *growls at job searching* ^_^
