Photograph Everyone!

Yes, fear the Kush and her mighty camera of digitalness. FEAR ME!!!! Squee ha ha ha ha! I, Kushrenada, declare photographic war on EVERYONE and EVERYTHING!

*calms down and becomes normal again* Yeah, so my weekend was fun! I saw a play Friday (see previous entry), played D&D on Saturday (lots of hilarity ensued), and on Sunday I went to dinner with Warumono, Jae, and Meg (Yay food!); and then watched Slayers with Jae and Warumono (laughing was involved.) I know that is a horribly long sentence. *points* Yeah, I had a pretty good weekend.

Also on Sunday I met Leia, my partner for design management. There was plenty of laughing during this meeting as well! She is so funny! It is fun to have her as a partner because we both went to HCC and we talked about the fun things that happend at the lab. We both miss the lab because here the group isn't as close. I know Luke-san and Jae miss the lab too. *grins* Those were some of the best days of my life. ^_^

Right now I'm in the unsuper lab to finish up my animation. I only have 100 frames to do and then I will be done. I got the trial version of Max 5, so I'm going to bring this file back to my room and let it render on Chichiri. *huggles Chich*

Hmm, what should I name my camera??? *ponders*

Antigone Eats Cod Chunklets For Lunch

Ahh, cod chunklets. The delicacy of many with a refined palette, including Princess Antigone. Yes, when King Crion decreed that his nephew, Anigone's brother, not have a proper burial, Antigone did not listen. She didn't listen because her courage was so powerful. You ask, how could a girl have such strong courage? Well friend, let me tell you. For lunch that day, she ate one cod chunklet. Yes, cod chunklets, one will give you the courage of a thousand men.

*in a fast, low voice* Cod chunklets do not make you fly, give you courage, or make you throw up. This product is sold at Bemidji State University's Walnut Hall. *commercial ends*

Ok basically, this is me blogging about a food at Wallys that is actually worth eating. They, however, are not named cod chunklets, but cod nuggets. Is there much difference? *shrugs* I don't know, but they both make me laugh a lot. Chunklet, my new trigger word. Thanks Tom! ~_^ I also am blogging about Antigone because Meg and I went and saw the play last night. I had a lot of fun. I hadn't seen a play for at least a couple years. The actors were fun to watch and everyone put on a good show. I remember reading about Antigone in college prep reading in high school. I loved that class. It was so much fun!

This weekend I didn't think that I would be able to play D&D, but I am. I guess you can't keep a role player from role playing. *sighs* Yeah, I'm a geek and love every second of it. *grins* Anyway, the adventure is basically Tipsi getting other people to help the people of a sad little kingdom. Of course Tipsi doesn't want to do it because there is a possiblity of her becoming famous. We could never have that! *shakes head and furrows eye brows* Anyway, get someone else to help the people and they become famous, not her.

Frame 500!!!! Yaaaaaaaaaay! 400 more to go!

Do Cheaters Win?

I am in the lab working my ass off right now. Well, right now I'm blogging, but before that, working. Anyway, I consider myself an okay student that tries hard and tries to do her best. Last semester I hated Form.Z and always complained about it. I thank those that had to hear me bitch for not telling me to shut up. I came into the lab tonight and saw an aquaintance. She told me that she had been all worried about getting her assignments done on time for a class dealing with Form.Z. She then told me that she wasn't worried any more because another person I know told her that everyone just downloads finished files from the Internet. I thought to myself, "Wait, wait, wait. These people don't even model their own stuff?" She also told me that people also put these files in their PORTFOLIO! I know it isn't the same class and this person is in exhibit design, but did people do this last semester in my class? I came and had to deal with a creepy woman, a stupid program, and the stress of getting it done when people were downloading finished files! I don't think it is fair, but I think in the long run it will bite them in the ass. Course, who knows, maybe it won't and they will continue to cheat the rest of their lives. *wiggles finger* BAD cheaters!

Calligraphy Company

Ok, Kush is feeling not so creative at present. I have been thinking of names for a fictional calligraphy company and so far I have come up with "Refined Scribbles, Scribbling on a higher level." I'm listening to Beast Blood by Malice Mizer and Bloody Scribbles is sounding pretty good. *grins* My animation would be INSANE! Yay! I like being crazy.

*goes off on a tangent* It is extremely hot in my room. I think it's because it is warm out. Did you people see how nice it was today?? Wow, I really enjoyed it the time I was out. *pets sun* Ow! *pulls hand away*

I was going to say something, but I can't remember what it was. Curses! Ummm, *taps foot*. . . *minutes pass* Oh, I don't know. Apparently a bishie walked by and distracted me. Ok, back to homework. *more minutes pass*

Yay, I remember! I ordered my digital camera! I took people's advice and I compared and comPARED! In the end, I went with my first choice. It was the best one for me and I found it about a hundred dollars cheaper on another web site that only sold cameras and camera thingernoodles. I'm proud and I think I made a good decision. *nods*

Meeting With Barb

Yesterday I had my meeting with Barb and I have a lot of work ahead of me. I think I'm taking it a lot better than other certain people that I have the pleasure of being in a group with. Anyway, it wasn't as painful as I thought it would be. I mean, I kind of knew what to expect from her and I was right. The thing is I expected there to be more critiquing and what to do and not to do in my work, but there wasn't much of that. I have this one piece that I am looking forward to. I made a little man out of letters in typeography and layout and I am going to make him a 3D character for a caligraphy company. I hope he turns out really well. Everyone really seems to like him and I think I will use him as my final piece to show my sense of humor. I was worried about portfolio and worried about what to show, but now I feel excited! I can't wait to graduate and get into the "real world." In a way I wish I had more time, but on the other hand I wish it was here, so it would be done and over with. If I could just skip the middle part and have all the work done, that would be great! ~_^

Other news in my life? Group work is turing out alright. I still am not thrilled about my one partner, but the other two partners I have are great to work with. Leia, who went to HCC, is in my design management class and we are working on a project about cartooning. She was expecting animated cartoons, as was I, but when we read the material it was about comic strips. I think she was kind of disappointed, but put a optimistic spin on it. She is really nice and I'm glad I got a chance to work with her! Mike is also a good partner. We are working on our first animation for the class and we are also going to start working on an environment. Mike is a quiet guy and easy to work with. He seems to have a good sense of humor and I think our animations will be awesome! Mary is beginning to be more of a handful than I anticipated. She's snobby and she seems to believe that she is better than everyone else. I don't get along with people like that. She reminds me of a snotty noble. Tipsi would have done something to her by now, but I am a lot more patient about people like that. *sighs* However, a bucket of water wouldn't kill her. *ponders* Or would it? "I'm melting, MELTING!"

Last weekend I went home and I got to see Kate and Mike's little munchkins. All I have to say is that I am extremely awkward with babies. I know that I would be able to learn if I did have children, but I don't like it. I don't ooo and ahh over babies, or children. To me they're small humans. Yay. Don't get me wrong, if Kate and Mike are happy, then I am happy for them. ^_^ I'm glad they have them home now and I'm glad that both little dudes are happy and healthy! I also DM-ed and played D&D this weekend. Yaaaaay! *huggles Sean* He is such a neat little character. He is a serious character, but he also has a pleasant sense of humor. *grins* I think his sister taught him that because I don't think he would have been able to learn it from his father. I can't wait to play again! Sean is so curious about the bad guy! He's more curious as to the reason behind the plot. Unfortunately, I can't come home this weekend. T_T Oh well, maybe sometime soon.

*seems very excited about everything*

Depressed Little Angel

My character Treize Kushrenada (I'm so creative!) is one depressed little angel. His girlfriend left him, his parents died, his big brother is missing, and most of his race has been annihilated. Yeah poor guy, he has a lot to be sad about. I, however, realized something when I was about to take a nap yesterday. I was thinking about my paladin/exorcist and I realized she would be the perfect girl for Treize. She hates demons just as much as he does, she's lawful good, and I think she could make him happy again. *sighs* There is a slight problem to this relationship, she's human. Yeah, I think the boy is attracted to humans because they are different and new. He grew up learning about them, but to actually be with these creatures is quite different. Treize also has tastes for rare and fine things, and to him a human is quite rare. He should really get to know a nice angel girl and continue the angelic race, but love is a strange thing and no one can predict it.

I'll tell you a little bit about this new love interest for Treize:

Name: Riley Cheyanne
Race: Human
Age: 18
Occupation: Paladin and will gain a prestige class in exorcist
Bio: She lived in a nice little town and she and her family were a happy bunch. Then a war began. It was far away and most of it wasn't even on the material plane, but in the outer planes. The war was between good and evil. The demons attacked the angelic city Dian Guar and many angels and demons lost their lives. However, the demons refused to go back to hell and went on a search for new bodies. The angels died peacefully, happy to do what they could to protect their city. The demons left the outer planes and searched for new bodies on the material plane. This is where Riley comes in. Her town was sieged by the ghostly demons and most of the townspeople were possessed, including her family. A demon tried to possess her, but with a strong will it was defeated. She couldn't do anything for her town, so she ran to find help. Unfortunately, there was no help to be found. (Or is there? Game idea?) Anyway, she went to the nearest good church and vowed to help and protect the innocent. She then went on a quest in search of a famous paladin in my world. She finds him, but is shocked to see that he is an old feeble man. She begs him to help her, and he does eventually say yes. At this point Riley is just finishing up her training and she will be off to give evil a kick in the ass.

I'm also excited because I'm going home this weekend! D&D all weekend baby!

I Hate Groups

Man, so much has happened since I blogged last. Last weekend I went home and had so much fun playing d&d. Sean is such a great character! Poor Sean, Sebastian (Luke-san's character) is always playing practical jokes on him. Sean is used to pranks because his sister is notorious for them. Sean wasn't usually the victim in his sister's jokes, lucky Guineas was. Damn it, the man needs to smile! Apparently, Sebastian believes that Sean needs to lighten up as well. Yes, Sean is a serious character, but he does know how to have fun. The thing is, he's working and like his father, takes his responsibilities very seriously. This is Sean's first real case and he wants to make a good impression to his superiors. He has a bright future ahead of him and he wants it to stay that way. He's excited about his marriage to Futune and having his own life away from home. Sean has done his share of pranks to Sebastian to get back at him, but Sebastian always has the upper hand. Sean finds it almost impossible to do things to Sebastian because he has his psi crystal watch Sean very closely. I have some ideas though. ~_^

Today is Luke-san's birthday and yesterday was Grandpa's b-day! It's crazy, I have four people that I care about that have birthdays in Feb. Geez, February must be a popular month. Grandpa says that all the smart people were born in February. Ok, that may be true, but all the great leaders were born on Oct. 10th! ~_^ Happy b-day to all 4 of you!

On Monday I was supposed to have a meeting with Barb so she could look at my possible portfolio pieces. She was sick on Monday, so I went to reschedule on Tues. *looks sad* Poor Barb! She layed in bed for 16 hours with her arm over head! I asked her how her arm was then and she said, "Terrible." I hate seeing people in pain. You could tell the poor thing was in pain and she seemed extremely tired. She seemed ok in class this morning, but I think she puts on a show. *sighs* It makes me sad thinking about it! On to next topic!

Ok, in classes we have been doing a lot of group work. *rolls eyes* Is it just me, why is it that these things happen to me? I think I'm being tested. I do like my one partner. His name is Mike and he is a really nice, quiet guy and we are working on all our 3D animation projects together. Unfortunately, I hated a person in my design management group. She's a loud mouth b-hatch that I think we should send to the moon. *waves bye bye to the 40 billionth b-hatch* I won't even go into the balloon popping thing. I'll only say that it was stupid and people need to be shot. *nods* My partner for my Director mx project is driving me NUTS! She's an older woman and I hope I don't kill her. Our original idea was doing the history of the pinhole camera. That's cool. I like pinholes. I made one in high school. She looked up stuff and thought there was too much info on it. She's an idiot and does not know how to trim things down, or something. I looked through the material and it seemed very logical and I figured we would just take the important parts. OHH NO, we have to tell every damn thing! We could never make a quick outline. Whatever lady. Now we are doing the blackout that happened on Aug. 17, 2003. Ok, this works too. I'm cool with that. Not as fun as pinholes, but I can manage. She wanted an example because she had no idea what to do. I am a nice Kush and I let her borrow the Anime Lexicon CD that Luke-san, Jae, and I made at HCC. She liked it and was glad that I gave her an example. She told me that she would like to use a similar layout. Yeah, that's cool. I like that layout too. She then said that she wanted to use that file and just replace the old pics and sounds with new ones. I told her NO! It would be easier to start from scratch. Damn it! She is not going to cheat off of me! I find that very dishonorable! She then told me that I would change my mind after I had my meeting with Barb because I would have so much work to do. Exact quote: "I think you will see it my way because you're going to realize how much work you have to do. It'll be easier to do it that way." Fuck you bitch. I'm not changing my morals after talking to Barb. *shakes head* She is ignorant if she thinks that will change my mind. I never expected her to be like this and I am very disappointed in her. I think she should be ashamed of herself, but we all know she isn't.

There is Otaku Society today and I don't know if I'll stay the whole time. I need to work on a project that is due tomorrow. Funny thing. It's a project where I need to depend on my partner, but he hasn't sent me the pics yet. *sighs* This is not good. I'm getting jaded by group work. I'm going to go e-mail him now and chew him out for not sending me the pictures. *sighs*

I'm not having a bad day, honest. ^_^

Quick Quote

“A good leader will always stay in style as long as they always wear a smile.”
-Sheri

Yeah, I made that up and thougt it might put a smile on people's faces. I had to think of a leadership quote for design management and put it in my paper. I also thought of, "A leader only needs POWER! *whispers and quietly shakes fists* Power." Eh, you be the judge. I kind of like the power one. *grins*

Destroying Helicopters

Answer me this. Why is it so much fun to destroy a helicopter with just your wits and a missile launcher/katana in video games? I am borrowing Shinobi from Chris and Mission 1-A involved the character beating the crap out of a missile shooing helicopter. I had so much fun and it reminded me of MGS where you had to shoot down the Hind D. Fun-ness!

Anyway, I am liking Shinobi so far. It's great nostalgia for me. My brother had the first game for the Sega Master System. I know, it wasn't the Nintendo, but it had some good games, such as, Shinobi. I loved that game and my brother and I played it for hours. The thing I remember was the mini game after each level. There was a pixelated hand and you got to shoot shurikens at, I think they were ninjas. It's hard to remember since I was really young. I wish they would have that in this version. It would be even cooler if they left it as the same mini game! The new Shinobi makes me think of the old one. Granted the graphics are waaaaaaaay better, but the music has the same melody and the feel of the gameplay hasn't changed all that much. The series has not lost it's charm at all and it is still a lot of fun. You know, it makes me want to play the original REAL bad. Maybe I'll give scott a call and see how he's doing. ~_^

One Year Old!

On February 2, 2003 at 12:43 a.m. this blog had it's very first entry. *tear falls down face* I'm so proud of you Kushrenada's Delusions. *blows nose and dries eyes* HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Yup, can you believe it? This blog is officially one year old. I gave her marble birthday cake just a little bit ago and she is one happy blog. You should see her, smearing the cake all over her face and squealing with pure delight. Ahh, one year olds. They are so darn. . . messy. Ahh, what the heck, my blog is the cutest one year EVER!

Hmm, a lot has happened over the last twelve months. I don't think I have changed all that much though. I'm the same old Kush that loves to laugh. One major change I can think of is saying good bye to Anubis *sniffle* and saying hello to Chichiri. Yay! Another major event in my life was my eye surgeries. I'm glad I got my eyes done, but I'm still hoping that my right eye will improve.

I can't wait to see what the next year brings. A lot will be happening in my life as I enter "the real world." *holds up wine glass* Well, here's to another exciting year!
