Whew, It's Been Ages!

I have not blogged in a very long time and it's about damn time! O_O Bad me! No D&D for me! Ok, ok, that is a little harsh. I just won't eat any cookies. *whispers* That'll be easy because we don't have any cookies! *giggles*

Not too much to type about really. I have been having a pretty good summer. I can't complain too badly. I have had some shock, but I think I'm getting over it. I'm not happy about it, but I'll get over that too. I just have to keep marching to the melody of my saxophone and not worry about it. I just wish that one thing in my life would go away and leave me and others alone. It should crawl into a deep dark hole and stay there forever. I see the stress that my father is going through and he doesn't deserve it. That is what I am mostly worried about, but once again I am helpless because that one thing will never go away. Anyway. . .

On to the good stuff. I went and saw Harry Potter on Saturday. I had my gripes, but like the Lord of the Rings they are good movies. I understand that books will always be one hundred times better than the movie. I felt as if you had to read the book to understand some things. I really wish they had said who Padfoot, Wormtail, Moony, and Prongs were because I think that is a major thing in the book. SPOILER! Plus, it would have made more sense because Lupin wouldn't have been able to work the marauder's map otherwise. Saying that Lupin was Moony would have made a lot more sense to the audience. A friend of mine told me that he thinks it should be a three hour movie. I totally disagree. The movie creators have a target audience that they have to think about. Ten year olds are not going to sit through a three hour movie. I think the director, actors, and crew succeeded in making this movie an enjoyable ride.

*laughs* Poor Anubis and his Windows 98-ness. I can't look at rantables on him. Poor thing. He's such a good little computer. This is what I'm basically saying. If you would like to send me a rant then you can send me an e-mail. You could leave a rant, but the chances of me reading it are minimal. I do go to the library and I could check them there, but I don't go that often. I have plenty of fun books to read that I own and I don't need to borrow movies because I still have so much anime to watch. Poor Nubs, I need to upgrade him. Someday, someday. *smiles* Well, gotta go. I wanted to look for jobs, but now I'm getting yelled at to get off the Internet. *shakes head* I shouldn't have told her I'm blogging.
