Pings Are Great, Most Of The Time

It has come to my attention that the third graphic on the web page does not show up when you first go there. There is a simple solution to this. Simply click the reload button and the name super will appear. ^_^
Christmas Parade Graphics

Behold, Christmas graphics! I said I would show you Christmas graphics and I have come through with my promise.

The first one is a bumper that might be used to say, "Stick around and don't change that channel Christmas freaks!"

The second is for Operation Rudolph. It will have logos from businesses who have kindly donated to the charity.

The third graphic is a name super to say who is who. For example, you would see a horse pulling a wagon with a HUGE wooden cell phone. The name super would pop up saying, "Who Wood You Like to Call Float" and then people "wood" KNOW what the float was! Aren't name supers spectacular?

In other news, (I think I should be an anchor.) Kush gets to work on a 15 second spot for the news 6 web site. (Ooo, I'm moving up in the world by a whole 5 seconds. Can you believe it!?) From what sources tell us, the ten second spot has been a big hit and Kush was authorized to begin plainning for the 15 second spot around 11 o'clock. Later on Kushrenada's Delusions, "wood" you cuddle a cow? That and more coming up next.

A Muse Fan?

O_O I think Chris, my boss, is a Muse fan. DUDE! I'm prettty sure I heard the song Dark Shines coming from his office. *nods* Isn't that cool!? *nod nods*

I mean how cool can one person be? He has role played for 20 years and likes Muse. I think he deserves a boss of the year award, or something.

I was thinking about posing an entry about my lunatic grandfather, but I have decided against it. I had this whole rant in my head, but I figure it isn't that important. There are more important things to write about, like Chris being a Muse fan.

Now on to the important things. . . .ummm. . . this morning I had a blueberry toaster stroodle with blue frosting. *nods* See? Important stuff! ^_^

A Beautiful Wedding

Kate and Mike had their wedding last Saturday. They have actually been married for almost a year now and finally got to have the celebration. To start the day they had a quick wedding ceremony and exchanged rings. After that they went around to mingle a bit before dinner. Dinner was superb! The place they had the wedding and reception served a turkey dinner. They had awesome mashed potatoes and stuffing! The wedding cake had black frosting, not surprisingly, with deep, dark red flowers. I thought it went with the rest of the decorations very well. The dark colors they had for the wedding added to the fact that it was an autumn wedding. I personally would like a fall, or winter wedding. Mom and Dad told me not to have a winter wedding because it gets so cold. They told me it was snowing on their wedding night, practically blizzard conditions and on Scott and Steph's wedding day it was freezing! I don't remember what the temp was, but I remember complaining about it. ^_^ It was a bit rainy on Saturday, but the warm atmosphere inside made it not matter. After eating the delicious cake they had a dance. I adore dancing and had a lot of fun. Mom and Dad had fun too. They always enjoy dancing and talking to people. I'm glad Kate and Mike's day turned out so well. I also wish them the best for the present and future, and I hope they live happily ever after.

I have to tell you about what type of cake I would have at my wedding. If my boyfriend person allows this. I don't see why not because it's not strange, it's neat! I would have the main cake be a sun. Then I would have all the other little cakes be the solar system that orbits our sun and, of course, the bride and groom figures would happily be standing on the earth. *nods* The tablecloth would have stars to add to the whole outerspace cake thing. *laughs* Outerspace cake! That slays me! *sighs* Yeah, that's what I want. We'll see because I'm sure it costs a wing and a nose.

I also got to see Luke-san on Saturday and we whatched Van Helsing. He was so nice and got me Castlevania for my PS2! Thank you Luuuuke-san!! Van Helsing is the freaking best! I need to get that movie. I showed it to Mom and said, "Hey Ma, this would be awesome to get me for Christmas." *snuddled DVD case* She agreed and we went to buy the stuff we planned to purchase. This purchasing things from a store took place on Sunday. I thought I should clear that up. Van Helsing was not one of the purchases, but I have a feeling I'll see it under the tree anyway! I wish I could have spent some time with Jae and Warumono, but time just wasn't permitting.

On Sunday I got to see my favorite little munchkin, Boston and I also got to see my favorite punk, my brother. Scott basically hung out with Dad and I got to play board games with Boston! I got to see Steph later and I finally got to give her her b-day money. Speaking of b-days, my Mom turned 60 on Saturday and my Dad will turn 60 tomorrow! Happy birthday parental units!

Charla was very kind and sent me a package in the mail! I was delighted to open it up and see a three and a half page letter! I love letters and was happy to hear everything is going great at her new job and home. I would also like to congratulate her on her new puppy! Now she doesn't have to go to a pet shop to get her puppy fix! *laughs* I can't wait to see little, Logan/Jake in December. I plan on writing her a letter to tell her all about my internship and thank her for the kitty picture frame she got me for my birthday. The card was cute too! Thank you Char!

There is some interesting news on the Grandpa front. Apparently, the people that bought the whore's house are now suing her. Isn't that sad? I was just heartbroken to hear the news. *shakes head* *sniff* Oh, so sad. ~_^

Fridays Are Wondeful Things

Thank God it is Friday. I haven't been having a bad week, but I'm tired. This weekend I won't find much rest because I'm going home for Kate and Mike's wedding. ^_^ I also hope to see a movie with Luke before I go to it. During this season, however, the movies aren't all that great. I was thinking maybe The Grudge might be an interesting one to go to, but I don't know. *yawns and stretches* Oh well, I'm sure we'll decide on something.

It's nice to go home, but I don't have my bed there anymore. I actually prefer to stay in Duluth. I love seeing everyone, but sometimes it's just nice to hang out in my apartment. I hope it turns out to be a nice weekend because it is also Mom's birthday. Dad's is on the 26th and I have no idea what to get them for gifts. I still have to give Steph her gift. I think it is just easier to give everyone money.

I have an hour and 15 minutes left. I should be working on my parade graphics, but I'm not in the mood. I basically have them done. I just need to decide on a cool background to put the graphics on. You wouldn't think that it would be a difficult thing, but it is. They used snowflakes last year and I think that is a wonderful pattern to have as a background. I may still use the snowflake idea and call it a done deal. I did want to make my own background just to say I made it. Hmm, I should put the name super up, so you people can see it. Margo likes it and I'm glad because I did work hard on it. Maybe I should just put all the graphics up at the same time. *ponders* Well, expect to see them sometime in the future.

I Know It's Not Funny

I know I'm psycho, but this is rediculous. The orange semi entry I know isn't that funny to anyone else, but I couldn't stop giggling about it during lunch. O_o I'm sure my co-workers thought I was a nut and a half. Picture me eating my sunbutter sandwich and giggling about "Vendomatic" and The Trucker Cop in my cubicle. I know it's not funny, but I keep laughing about it. I must have needed to laugh, or something. Yeah, it's sad when I get into a giggle fit. It's even sadder when I do it alone. *rolls eyes*

I would like to apologize for writing this stupid entry. I am in a giggly/rambly mood today.
Orange Semi Trucks???

Lately I have been having very surreal dreams and I remember them. *sighs* I'm kind of getting tired of remembering my dreams everynight. The latest dream wasn't all that strange, it was just different. I dreampt that I was cruising around Hibbing. I was by myself and it was a sunny day and autumn leaves littered the ground. I was enjoying my drive when I heard sirens. I decided to turn off the road I was driving on, and on to another so I cuold get out of the way of the police cars. The next thing I knew there was an orange semi truck racing toward me. The sirens were blaring and I realized that that was a police semi truck. My mouth gaped open in surprise. The semi truck wasn't normal either. Both the cab and the trailor were rounder than normal. It was as tall as a regular semi truck, but not as long. I stopped at a stop sign and noticed to my left that there was another semi truck turning to follow the other one. I sat their amazed as another one was coming from down the road I was on. That truck halted and the driver opened his window. I did the same. The driver asked if I had seen the other two, and if I did, could I tell him what direction they went. I informed him that he was going the right way and he left to follow the other trucks. I then woke up.

Now that you know my dream, now you can get this joke. *clears throat* *narrator voice on* Jimmy Flandinsky was a trucker who fought for justice. He became a cop, but didn't want to give up his big rig. *honk honk* Jimmy Flandinsky is, The Trucker Cop! Airing Tuesdays on SCK. *narrator voice off*

I'm in one of my humorous moods today because I was thinking of *narrator voice* The Trucker Cop *narrator voice off* while I was brushing my teeth. Then to top it off I saw a van that said, "Vendomatic" on it while going to work. *tip* You have no idea the will power I had to use to make myself not burst out! I have to admit that I snickered and smiled a huge grin, but I basically stayed calm. Then I pictured Jimmy Flandinsky DRIVING the Vendomatic van! *sighs* Can you believe I still didn't laugh out loud? I know that if one of you had been there, I would have been on the floor!

My Commercial!

Well, it is done and it is going to air on TV. When? I have no clue. Both Chris and Margo think it's great! I'm so glad I have a good piece to show in my portfolio! Margo thought it was "fantastic" and Chris kept telling me what a great job I did. I guess Kyle is going to bring the tape downstairs tonight. That means it could even air tonight! This ten second spot has raised my confidence in my work quite a bit. I can honestly say that I am proud of it and cannot wait to see it air on TV.

On the other hand, I'm working on Christmas graphics and I'm kind of in a slump with that. I cannot get into a Christamsy mood! I don't blame myself either because it is only October. Halloween is still a couple weeks away. Can you blame me for not being in a holiday cheer? *sighs* I think I have decided on a theme I would like to go with. I thought a ribbon for name supers and things like that would be good. Margo and Chris agree, but how do I make a ribbon a fullscreen graphic? I thought about having a mess of ribbons overlapping each other, but I think it would be too busy. I want a clean, simple design that won't take away from the text that will be put in during the parade. I also thought of having a close up of an end of a ribbon with wrapping paper as a background. I guess I'll sketch some more ideas.

Some Fanfic Writers Should Be Shot

I was nosing around the Internet today and found a Harry Potter and Gundam Wing fanfic. O_o I only read a tiny bit of it, but apparently Treize Kushrenada is a muggle that found out about the wizarding world. Harry's life is in danger because Treize wants to kill him. Also, Wu Fei has a thing for Harry and wants to save him. All I have to say is, "WTF?"

Sunday Adventure!

I had an awesome day! I got to see the beautiful fall leaves, shop and eat! I finally decided to get out to the mall via the bus routes. Can you believe I made it?! Ok, I didn't know it at the time, but when I got to the Holiday Center I should have just stayed on the bus becasue the one that picks me up here goes straight to the shopping area. *sighs* I'm such a dope. Anyway, I thought I missed it and went to have lunch at Subway. My original plan was to have lunch at the mall, but I "missed it" so I ate there and waited for the one to come at 1:45. No big deal, it was only a 45 minute wait. Well, I caught the bus and decided to go to Target. While I was on that bus I got to see some gorgeous trees! I saw one that looked like a Photobob gradient. A red to yellow gradient. *remembers tree and smiles* Then I saw one that had splashes of green, yellow and red. I'm glad I went shopping today because the weather was so much better than yesterday's. I think the colors pop out more when there is a blue sky in the background.

I made it to Target and grabbed some Halloween candy for the little children things. I also got bat garland and a skeleton/wraith guy to hang on my door. I would LOVED to have the talking skeleton, but he was $25. *is sad* His eyes glowed red and when I was headed down that aisle there were little girls saying, "Ewwwww! Look at that skeleton!" I'm evil, but I thought that was awesome! You can even pose him anyway you want and he stays! DUDE! Oh well, when I have a job I can get someting like that. I guess I should say a paying job. After looking at Halloween goodies I went to check out. I decided to walk over to Best Buy because they have anime, video games and STUFF that I love! I wonder if I could just live there. Pay rent eat the plastic that covers stuff. I don't know, I think I would make an awesome phantom of the Best Buy. I could wear a mask with a black, flowing cape! I would keep people out of my favorite ailes by drooling on things and growling. Hey, I do have my territory to protect. *nods* *dreams a bit*

Yeah, I made it to Best Buy and drooled on the anime, video games and computer games. Mmm, Sims 2, mmm. *snuddles* After the fondling session at Best Buy I walked back to Target and bought my milk and toaster stroodles. I should have walked to Best Buy first, but I wasn't sure if I would go, or not. Well, I'm glad I did. I grabbed some dinner at Target and caught the bus home. Yeah, no transfers for Kush Bear. Thank goodness because I hate waiting! I'm going to hang my garland and Mr. Skelie on my door now. Awww, he's so kawaii!

New Bloooooooog!!!

I have added a new blog for your reading enjoyment. I won't be posting much there, but a few other people will. ^_^ If you visit the new blog you will see a list of names that have decided to join in the the blogging revolution. One of them I practically had to beat to make him join, but he ultimately agreed just so I would leave him alone. *evil grin* Others will join in the future, but right now it is just the four of us. Those who have characters that know these characters, feel free to comment as those characters. If you don't have a character, but would still like to make your voice heard, hey, go for it. It will be a lot of fun!

How did I get the idea? Well, you will have to thank Jae for that one. One day, a long time ago, I was looking around on livejournal and found a murasaki journal. I think it is a wonderful idea, so I stole my nemisis' idea. ^_^ Thanks Jae!
D&D Is A Good Thing! *nods wisely*

Yesterday was a good day. At 11 A.M. I went to help with the Women in Leadership Luncheon. I was one of the people that got to take money and check them off on the list. I then got to tell them what table they would be at. It was fun to do something different during my day. After the five of us, who helped with registration, were done with our duty we went to Grandma's for lunch. Woot! Free lunch! I had a cheeseburger that was delicious. It tasted a lot better than my sunbutter sandwich. ^_^ After lunch I got into the editing bay and started working on the second scene for my ten second spot. Oh man, you should here the audio. The lady that does it is awesome. *envies her* I'm not sure if I have the right voice, but I would really like to try and get a job at a place like that. It would be FUN!!! Chris came to kick me out because he had stuff to do, so I said that was cool. The celebration of the 30th anniversary for D&D is on Saturday and I asked if he was going to go to Robin Goodfellow's. He said that he would like to because they are giving away free stuff, but he wouldn't be able to make it. I said, "Yeah, I think they're giving away free d20's." He looked at me and and asked, "Do you play???" I told him that I did and he told me that he has more respect for me! *laughs* He seemed absolutely thrilled that I played. See Mom, D&D has helped me in more ways than you could possibly understand.

D&D rant begins.

Honestly, I think D&D is the best thing I cuold have ever learned to play. It is a creative outlet that lets me escape from reality for a while. Some people might think that is a bad thing, but in all truth we all do it. We read books, watch movies/TV, anything that is a hobby that you enjoy is an escape from reality. I know I get a little obsessed about it, but who doesn't like to talk about a book they just read, or quote lines from their favorite movie. I have mostly seen good come from D&D. There are the lunatics who think it's cool to drink, or use other substances while playing, but most of the people I know are not like that. These lunatics I just mentioned give the rest of us a bad name. For some odd reason people like to focus on the bad. They never focus on the positve. For instance, my mother thinks D&D is evil because it involves magic and has demons. I honestly don't think God would see this as a bad thing. It is just a game and we don't actually cast spells. Plus there aren't always demons, or devils. I have more good characters than I do evil and I think it will always be like that. You do have to have some evil charactes because they make great villains when you DM. For instance, Marius is an evil character, but when you take a closer look at why he is this way you'd understand him more. You almost feel sorry for him. I could never have made him the way he is without playing him from level one. He probably would have been another cheap villain that didn't mean anything. However, some good/neutral characters feel bad for him and wish they could help him, but they know he could never be good. This is the emotion that makes playing worth it. The creativity that comes out of it is wonderful. I love to write and I would probably never be published, but this way I can see my friends' characters romp around in an incomplete world that I am creating. I get to see my characters come alive and interact with the PC's. People may think that I will grow out of this phase, but it has already been 5 years? I'm not sure if it has been 5, or 4. Anyway, I see this as a lifelong hobby. I have always joked about being in a nursing home playing with other D&D freaks. *sighs* Yeah, that would be cool. *pictures old people with D&D books and dice* Yup, it's a lifelong adventure.

I Remain A Fool

(I’m not the fool. Talia thinks she is the fool. I guess what I’m saying is, this is a Talia entry. If you are not interested in her thoughts and feelings then you should stop. If you are curious about her then read, read NOW!)

Fools make the same mistakes twice and I am one of those fools. Of course my mistake had good intentions, but I made it still the same. I feel hurt, confused, tired and I feel as if I’m going to crumble. I feel as if I’m always the one that needs saving. I hate that. First Saki had to save me all the time, my brothers save me, my parents tried to save me and they died because of it, and now poor Athriel has to put up with my ineptitude. The thought of running away has crossed my mind, but that would just leave to more saving. I’m so frustrated!

I guess I’ll start from the beginning so you understand how I came by these feelings. Athriel and I had just said good bye to our dear friends. We had decided to go on a quest for oranges. I thought a silly little quest would make him feel better. I know this is off subject, but I am very pleased to say that I sent a letter to Solude through air mail. From what I understand wind sorcerers deliver mail in Endrmia. I just hope he received it. We walked a while in Endramia and then decided to go to Maiestus. I think Athriel was glad for the change of scenery. We plane shifted and found ourselves in the Megalith Forest. I am familiar with this region and gave Athriel a couple of choices. We could have gone to the logging village west of the forest, north to the elven city named after the forest, or south which I am not all that familiar. He seemed extremely interested in the city of the elves, so we headed north. You see, most elves in his world, the Sidhe, are evil and cruel. I was happy to show him the peaceful Megalith Forest. We had so much fun there. You should have seen Athriel’s expression when he saw a gnome for the first time! A young entrepreneur, named Prisca, (I think that was her name because that is what was on the sign.) sold us a delicious pie and gave us odd looking juice that tasted quite good. Also during our wanderings in the city we came across my friend and colleague, Dr. Hatake Kakashi. I think he was surprised to see me, but happy. He told us great news of a gentleman who donated quite a bit to the hospital. I wish I knew his name so I could send him a thank you. We said good bye to him and Tipsi stopped us to chat. For some odd reason Ijou put it in her head that I would steal Kakashi from her. She is not one to beat around the bush and asked outright, “Would you ever steal Kakashi away from me?” I told her I would never do that. Other than that off the wall question we had a pleasant visit with her. Athriel seemed to be in better spirits here and that made me feel very good. We went shopping and found an adorable toy store. The shopkeeper had so many interesting toys. There were wooden swords and Athriel “attacked me.” I grabbed a stuff dragon and it protected me. See? I don’t even protect myself when I play silly games. Anyway, the stuffed dragon saved me from Athriel, but then turned out to be a horrible evil dragon. The dragon, controlled by Athriel, attacked me, but I saved myself by grabbing a teddy bear. I think I know what my problem is. I have damsel in distress syndrome. Anyway, we had a wonderful laugh and the shopkeeper even gave us candy. Lollipops are quite delicious. It is getting cold near the mountains and the night made it seem chillier. I shivered and Athriel put his cloak around me. I would have put my own cloak on, but I didn’t want to be rude. That was very kind of him. He is such a sweet person. He even held the door open for me at the inn. Every time I think of him and how kind he has been to me my. . . heart skips a beat and I smile. I am very fortunate to have him here.

The next day Athriel went to visit Meldronna in Andronikov. He left that morning and I went to find Kakashi. I figured since I was around we could get some hospital business done. I walked over to where his parents live and saw him rolling on the ground with a dark gray dragon with iridescent scales. Kakashi held a small red ball and the baby dragon tried his best to get it. Kakashi looked over at me and smiled as he threw the ball. The little dragon chased it under a bush. We made plans to meet at the tavern during dinnertime and talk about the hospital. I decided to head north to the Megalith Mines. It wasn’t too far from the city and I figured by flying I could save myself a lot of time. Treize, my brother, is there and I thought it would be a good time to see him. I didn’t want to do it, but I also intended on telling him about my stupidity with my wings. As I walked on the main road leading out of town something caught my eye. In an alleyway there were two teenage boys beating up a man in a long gray coat. One of the boys hit him square in the nose and the crimson blood started to flow. Drawing my great sword I ran over to help. The boys saw me running toward them and started to run. The beaten man fell to the ground. I had to make a choice, go after the boys and bring them to justice, or help the man laying on the ground. The groans from the beaten man made my choice easy. I had to help the man. This sounds like a kind thing to do, but this is where I made my mistake. Helping this bleeding, beaten man is something I will regret for the rest of my eternal life.

(As you can see, this entry is HUGE and I’m not even done yet. I’m going to stop here and continue it later. Poor Tal and Ath. *sighs* Oh well.)

Broiled Cake Anyone?

So I said I would bake my cake for my birthday. I thought it would be fun. It was except for the little scare that I had. Did my kitchen almost burn down. Nah, but I did broil my cake instead of baking it. I learned a couple things making this cake. (I don't bake very often, so this was a good learning experience.) I learned that when opening the bag with powdered cake mix use a scissor. Don't sit there going "Nnnnnnnnah" because that can lead to a small disaster. Fortunately only a little powder fell onto my floor and table. The second thing I learned was, if you broil a cake, it's not a big deal and the cake still tastes cake-alicious! *offers everyone virtual broiled cake*

I had a wonderful WL Day! Here is my loot that I aquired. Meggles gave me a beautiful glass globe! It has a cube-ish stand and the globe spins! She was also kind enough to buy me dinner. Like I said, Mom and Dad gave me $40. I spent that on my 3 Saiyuki DVDs and I bought two fantasy novels. I bought Belgarath the Sorcerer and Homeland: Book 1 of the Dark Elf Trilogy. Scott, Steph, and Boston got me a turner (for turning hamburgers and stuff. I have one, but it's cheap and stupid.) They also got me the cutest kitty oven mit. I hung it above my sink and it adds a lot to that little area. They also gave me a gift certificate to Barnes and Noble. I bought the Savage Species book for D&D. I have wanted that book for so long and now I have it.

Yeah, it was a wonderful day. I knew the weather would be awesome because it always is.

Mmm, Voteboards Are Crunchy

Can you tell that I'm starving? I had breakfast, but apparently not a good one? *shrugs* Anyway, here's my crunchy voteboard. Any suggestions blah blah blah. You know the drill.

I guess I should say that the black boxes would be pics of people. It would be silly to have random boxes there, but it would make people think, "WTF?"

No Voice Work For The World Leader

*laughs* I didn't outright say to Chris, "Can I be the narrator of MY animation? Tee hee." I simply asked how the narration would be done. It seems that there are compnies that do this work for TV and radio stations. I find this extremely interesting. I'm really tempted to find these type of companies and try to get a job with them.

What? David Kaye Productions? Yes, I would love to work for you! I could do some graphics and voice work for you. Hmmm? How does that sound? *evil grin*

So although I do not get to narrate for my animation I did gain some valueable knowledge. Yay!
I'm Sorry Kenshin!

*looks sad, but you can tell I'm faking* *sniffle* I lost Kenshin last night. The two volumes that I wanted went up to a whopping $15 and $15.5! Can you Imagine? The thing that gets me is that they are USED! According to the seller the DVD's were in perfect condition, but still. I'm so sorry Kenshin, my "clumsy" samurai. I wanted to have you in my collection, but alas! *puts hand up to forehead looking as if I'm about to faint* *sighs* Good bye my love.

Well, I guess this means I'll have to get a D&D book, manga, or something else spiffy! Yay spiffericiousness! I bet spiffy things are shiny, and or fuzzy. Ooo. *eyes widen*

Awesome Day Of Happiness!

I don't know why school wasn't as enjoyable because I am doing the same thing. I don't know, maybe school and I just didn't get along, but I seem to be doing really well in this atmosphere. Margo and I finally had a meeting about my graphics and she liked them! I told her my thoughts on them and we had a good chat about stuff. She really seemed to like the banner that I made. ^_^ I'm so happy I came here. It was meant to be. I hope I can stay because I enjoy this. If I don't end up staying it is probably for the best because who KNOWS what's out there to be explored!

Chris did come back and I did ask him where my spot was. He told me and that is the end of that. I would work on it, but the editing bays are full. No big deal, I'm going to work on a vote board. Those are the graphics that tell you who is competing, who is ahead and what for in the elections.

I'm also happy to say that I am going out to eat tonight with Meggles-chan. I guess she felt like she needed to get away from school. Plus her parents are here because her mom is accepting an award for librarian stuff! Congrats Meg's mom! *waves Bev banner*

*bounces off to Photoshoppington*
Animation Lost

Ok, I just went into the editing bay to work on my cars, but I have no idea what Chris saved it as, or what he named it. You see, he had to show me how to do it first and I just Ctrl+s-ed it because I was more concerned with whether, or not I could animate my cars. I was so happy that my car moved the way I wanted and the fact that it was lunch that I saved and left. Yay me. Ok, this wouldn't be a problem if Chris was here, but he's not. *sighs* I was hoping to do that instead of news graphics. Are we seeing a pattern? I was going to go downstairs and CG, but I really didn't feel like graphics. I'm sure he'll come back and I'll tell Margo that I'm going to work up here. Yup, that's what I want to do. *nudges Chris* You can come back now, please?

Elections Are Just Around The Corner

I thought you might be interested in seeing an election graphic I made yesterday. It could be a background, or a wall. I'll have Margo look at it today and see what she thinks. What do YOU guys think? Well, if you want to see it click here!

Slightly Odd Lunch

Now I know what you are thinking, "What a dumb entry, I don't want to hear about Kush's sunbutter sandwich." Well, if you are still reading then you must be minorly interested, right? So this morning I'm happily spreading sunbutter on a piece of bread for my sandwich and I see some green. This I can assure did not make me a happy WL, so I threw the little bit of bread that was left. "Well, green skittles," I thought with a frown. (I didn't actually think this, but I thought green skittles would be funny because I had green bread and skittles is a funny word. I'm in one of those strange hyper moods, so beware!) Yeah, so I was out a lunch. I decided to bring a banana, apple, Little Debbie star crunch, and a juice bag. *yells* Go Dole-ah University Juice Bags! Whoooo! *waves banner* I didn't have my sandwich, but I did have an extra fruit. ^_^

Today is going really well at work. I thought of a cool idea for an election background and I started animating my ten second spot. I'm using Adobe AfterEffects and so far it's pretty easy to use. I had used it a LONG time ago at HCC and I hardly remember any of it. With my experience in Flash and knowing about keyframes makes it easy for me to move my little cars. I would like to narrate the spot, but I haven't asked yet. I should though because that would also get me one step closer to voice work. *twirls in chair* I'm going to ask Margo if I can just stay up in promotions and work on the election graphic. In truth, I don't want to ruin such a splendid day working on news graphics today.

Jae and I roleplayed a bit online on Monday night. Athriel and Talia are in Maiestus in the Megalith Forest, and no matter what Athriel thinks, Talia is having a great time with him. She was delighted to bring him to a new world with new things. He wanted to get away from Endramia for a bit, so now they are searching for oranges in Maiestus. You see, Athriel has never seen, or tasted an orange. Talia grew up with them because her grandfather had an orange orchard, so she has put it upon herself to find oranges. Unfortunately, they are not in the right region for finding such things. Oh well, that is the point of an adventure, right, you adventure. Fahkir Amour cannot WAIT to get into the game. He is dying to get his hands on Talia. Ooo, he is sooooo naughty!

Gah! Hands!

Why does the human hand have to be so friggin' complex? I hate drawing them! *stabs hand* *screams in pain* *people walk by with raised eyebrows as blood squirts from Kush's right hand* "Ya know it's a good thing I can regenerate, or you people would be in BIG trouble," Kush screams. *regenerates*

So yeah, I have put the lovely fleshous blob with a sleeve for you to admire. I would like to see more fingers, but I took a pic of my hand "pressing" a button. That was an interesting sight, I'm sure! Imagine me trying to take a pic with my digital camera with my left hand while my right hand poses. The button to take the pic is on the right side. *sighs* I probably looked like I was trying to do a strange yoga move with my upper body. I did, however, manage to get the shot of my ugly hand. Dang, I need lotion! Good thing Gavin reminded me that I forgot mine because now I have it. Well, the pic is below. If you have any suggestions on clothing wrinkles and the like please rant, or e-mail. Just to let you know, I have not shaded the sleeve yet. I'm not sure if I want to outline the wrinkles with black, or just dodge and burn. Thanks a bunch for the help! ^_^

Mad Shopping Skillz

I am so proud of myself. For my birthday my parents are generously giving me $40 this year. They usually spend $20 on us, but the last couple years they have given more. I'm so lucky. Anyway, the reason I say I have "mad shopping skillz" is because I am possibly going to get five DVDs for my birthday with that $40. Yeah, what can I say, I am the shizNEIT! O_O Did I just type that? Woa, that has got to stop. *clears throat* I plan to finish off the first season of Saiyuki. *nods* And I hope to win volumes 5 and 6 of Rurouni Kenshin. This way I will be able to buy the handy, dandy box sets that they are putting out. I won't be able to get them right away, but I am getting closer to finishing these series. *sighs* Anime is such an expensive hobby, but it is worth it. I WOULD have bought the entire Mirage of Blaze series if it was in it's box set, but that's not coming out until November 30! Hello, my birthday is mid October! Don't these people know what the World Leader wants? Geez! ^_^ But I can't complain because I am very happy with these DVDs. *nods* I hope I win the Kenshin DVDs off ebay. *crosses fingers*

Hula Fun For Everyone!

I thought you people might appreciate this. ^_~

Excitement Fills The Air

I'm excited and Chris is excited because the illustrations are turning out awesome! *bounces around* *twirls in office chair* *gets dizzy and stops* I told him that a friend mantioned a vent and he said that I could put it in if I wanted, but that much detail is not necessary. Hmm, shoild I, or should I not? I think I will just because I can't do much with it until I get pictures of hands. I need to trace a hand because the ones I draw are not satisfactory. I looked on the Eeeenternet, but none of the hands were in the position I wanted them. *curses under breath* Yeah, I'm happy.

I am coming home tonight. I wasn't sure until last night that I would come home. Mom wants me to look through some boxes filled with Kush things. Yay stuuf n' things. *giggles* Yeah, I forgot about that old joke.

I have come up with an adventure for Mersh (I'm not sure if that is spelled correct.), Tamali, and Vaeldin. I'm pretty excited about it. I keep thinking about Allesandra and what a cool charcter she *hopes* will turn into. She can be snobby, but she has a good heart. I'm not sure what the party will make of her "situation," but I think she'll fit in alright. I wish I could type about plots, charcters, and THINGS, but I can't because people read this blog that will play it. Ahhhhhhh! Needless to say, Mom is going to get an ear full going home. I know she'll kind of listen to my geeky ramblings. I'd say lets play this weekend, but I don't have all of the first part planned out. I don't even have Allesandra rolled up. Hmm, I could do that tonight when I get home to Hibbi-town.

Did anyone watch the debate last night? I have to say four words, "Kerry kicked Bush's butt!" I only watched a little bit of it, but from what I saw, Kerry was a better speaker than Bush. I almost pitied Bush for saying, "Um, ah." The only thing Bush could say about Kerry was how his opponent flip-flopped on issues. Bush accused him of voting for something about the war and then changed his mind. Kerry said that he did make a mistake, but President Bush made the mistake of going into war with Iraq. I was glad to see Kerry standing his ground and Bush crumbling under the pressure. I hope other Americans saw this as well and get it into their heads that we need a new president. Well, that's enough of my political rant. Off to visit Photoshoppington, Count of Pixelvania. ^_^
