So today I had plans of getting up in the morning to exercise and eat something. Needless to say it didn't go all that well. I didn't fall asleep until 2 am because I had an annoying headache. O_o Basically the alarm went off at 6:30 am and I was so tired I turned it to when I normally wake up and then I hit the button to turn it off and I didn't wake up until 7:40 something am.
*beats head*
So I'm hoping tomorrow morning will go better. This was the week I had planned to do it and I'm going to stick to it. T_T I need to! *prays*
I'll brief you tomorrow if I did it, or not. *sigh* I'm hoping since I'm tired I'll sleep well tonight and be somewhat conscious in the morning. LOL

Lost
No no, I'm not lost. . . well lost in Lost perhaps, but not physically lost. While Char was up visiting she brought me a little show called Lost. So far, things are pretty interesting. All the characters are intriguing and everything is well done. I like how they edit the show, or really I like how they put in the flashbacks and how they relate to what the character is doing at the time. Kudos to the Lost crew! Right now I am on disc 4. I actually haven't even started watching it, but during dinner I will watch one, or two episodes.
Things are still going well with Rendiani. And here is good news I get to see him on August 15th. :) We will be seeing a Tokio Hotel concert with Kami-sama and the devil. I'm super excited and I have to find my concert dress. *clears throat* Yeah, you heard me right. . . dress. Rend is going to see a miracle happen, Kush is going to wear a dress two weekends in a row. *gasp* I know, calm down, it's ok. Yeah, hell did just freeze over. We can deal with this. CALM DOWN!!! *giggles* Ohh, you are probably wondering why I'm wearing a dress two weekends in a row. Well, the weekend after the concert we are all going down the the ren fest. I cannot wait!!
So far my diet has been going well. I'm still sticking to 1200 calories a day and drinking 50 oz. of water. I still need to drink a couple ounces yet to make my 50, but it is going pretty well. I hope I see some results, otherwise that will really make my morale go down. However, if I see some results from all this hard work of eating healthier that will raise my spirits and make me want to continue. Everybody cross their fingers!
Today was very interesting to me. I found out that I have 2 new family members. A new brother and get this, a daughter. O_O I know, weird huh? Ok, we all know this isn't true, but it is in Patsy's mind. For those who don't know, Patsy is my neighbor upstairs and she is 95, so she has a right to get confused. Anyway, the reason she thinks I have a kid and another brother is because Kami and the devil came with the twins and the 2 yr. old that the devil babysits for. Anyway, Patsy saw them and I told her, "This is my friend and this is the little girl he babysits." Well, she turned that encounter into, "This is my brother and my daughter that he babysits." I have no idea how you mix those two, but I'm not 95. So congrats to me! I have a baby girl and a new brother! I'm sure the devil will be stoked to have an older sister. LOL
I'm at work right now and I have an hour left. >_> I know, shame on me, but I'm trying to make my work go until tomorrow. Well, off I go to doink around. :D

The Second Day
Ok, let me explain something. I want to lose some weight and become fit to go on my trip to Disney, so Meggles and I started a "diet" blog together. We have decided that Mission: Disney will be a private blog, however I will put some, or all posts up on KD as well. It's not very exciting, but it keeps you up to date on what I'm doing. :D Here is the first post on MD!
This is my second day of eating healthier. :) Yesterday was a rough start, but today I did a lot better. Here is the rundown:
Today I did pretty well. I didn't do any exercise like I had planned, but I suppose there is still time. However, I doubt I'll get to it.
I learned today that women are supposed to have 12-18 hundred calories a day and I made the 1200. It is quite a bit of food actually which surprised me.
Today I ate my Mott's strawberry, banana applesauce during my morning break. For lunch I had a salami sandwich with cheese on a hamburger bun, no miracle whip. :D For dinner I had 2 pieces of Jack's pepperoni pizza and 1 glass of milk. The milk I had with my pizza was maybe 12 oz.? I'm not quite sure. Finally for a snack I had 6 animal cookies and a glass of milk. I put less in the glass, so I think I had an actual cup of milk.
So today was a good day with food, but lacking in exercise. :) Good luck tomorrow!

A New Apartment And A New Boyfriend
Well, it seems like I have all new beginnings. I just moved into my new place and love it! Except for the fact that Qwest can go eat dirty gym socks, but I shall rant about that later on in this entry. AND here is the bigger news. The guy I met on geek2geek.com and I are officially boyfriend and girlfriend! *laughs* I have to admit that I am super excited about it.
Ok, from now on I shall call him Rendiani, or Rend for short. As I mentioned in my last entry we had our first date at the Chatterbox and we could have talked for hours! We just click. I feel so comfy around him. He came to visit me this weekend and we had such blast! He came on Saturday at about noon, which was perfect timing for a lunch. As you all know, I don't like when people pay for me, but I've gotten better at biting my tongue when it comes to such things. He did pay for lunch, but he let me grab the movie tickets! You do not know the relief I felt when I got to do that. We had a talk about it on Sunday and going dutch is perfectly fine with him. :) However, he would like to treat me sometimes, which I will happily agree to. After lunch we came back here to grab and talk about d&d stuff. Oh! Here is more news. I am security person at my church, so I have to check the doors every night, so we went and did that before going to Kami-sama and the devil's house. I was dm-ing, but Rend knew what was going on in the game. He helped me come up with my new villain. ^_^ Ooo, villains are soooo yummy. That night there were 7 of us playing, but we all seemed to have fun. At about 12:30 am, we came back to eat some pizza and watch Final Fantasy Advent Children. We were so tuckered after that we went to bed. Now, I know what you are wondering, well he slept on my futon and I slept in my bed. *laughs*
Sunday morning we woke up and got ready for the day. The coupon book I had bought from Boston had a coupon for a skillet breakfast at one of the local restaurants, so we went and had a tasty brunch. LOL, yeah we slept in because we went to bed so late. After that we came back here to watch Howl's Moving Castle. Woot for Myazaki films! During the movie we snuggled and then the movie ended and I stayed on the futon instead of retrieving the DVD. Hey, it was just too comfy. We had a great time though just sitting and talking. That is one thing I'm so happy about. He isn't just a boyfriend, but a friend. Someone I can talk to and have a good time with. I think snuggling and kissing is important in a relationship, but a good friendship is the true base of a relationship. Now we are trying to make plans to see each other more often. One of us is going to see the other and spend the weekend again in July. Yay for high gas prices. :( But I know we will manage. Plus I have definite plans to go down in August for the ren fest. One of Rend's hobbies is making chain mail, so I'm super excited to see him in his chain shirt. ^_^
Basically, things are going well and I'm really looking forward to seeing Rend again!
Now, on to my rant about Qwest and Mediacom. So, I like to have a phone and I like to have internet. I especially like having the net. May 30th I was supposed to have internet and phone. The thought of having a phone and net right away in my new place made me extremely pleased. Well, Sunday was the day I was actually able to plug my phone in. Nothing. I called qwest and they said, "We'll get someone out there tomorrow." Ok, cool. I had taken Monday off, so I could wait for the cable guy and unpack. I was glad qwest was able to come out that day since I was home. The mediacom guy came and couldn't find a drop point for the cable. Since everything was still in boxes at that time I couldn't find my landlord's #. The guy needed to talk to him to get permission. Ok fine, I understand and then the wait for the qwest guy began. The qwest guy eventually called and I told him to go in the alley since that's where the phone lines are. He got all confused and called me Pamela. Those of you who know me know that that is not my name. I eventually found out that my new # had not had it's address changed so they went to the old address that my # used to belong too. *sigh* Here I thought they messed up my contact #. The idiots, I was on the phone 20 mins. each waiting to talk to someone at qwest. He did eventually call me and said, "It should be working now." I was happy and plugged my phone in again. Nothing, once again. I actually called the guys cell and said to his voice mail, "Hello, my name is Kush and you just told me that my phone is working, but it isn't." He of course did not call back. So THEN I made a new appt. for them to come on Thursday and I told them, "Come in the morning because I work at noon. I leave at 11:30." I don't really, but I wanted a little time after they left. I waited and waited all morning for them to come and they never did. Well, at noon I made it to work. Then my dad's cell rang at 2 pm. Do you know who it was? You guessed it, qwest! I told them sternly that they were supposed to be there in the morning and I was now at work. First he said, "Oh really?" Then he said, "Oh yeah, there was a mix up." That night during my half hour break I called qwest AGAIN to make another appt. with them. I told them, "Tomorrow I get off of work at 3:30, so come at 4, or after." Friday I got home and called qwest to find out when they were coming. I had dinner plans and I wanted to know what the deal was. Turns out, they had already come and the guy on the phone said, "Yeah, it says they couldn't get into the apartment because no one was home." I freaked out! Well, I thought I had anyway, but Mom and Dan say that I didn't sound that scary. I told him that I was sick of their screw ups and I will not pay the fee for them coming into the building. I should have asked for a free month or two. Anway, they came on Monday and the guy who did it was super nice and he didn't charge me. :) I got my phone Monday at 4:30ish and I got Vinni set up and working about 9:00 last night. Now I just have to get after the Mediacom assholes. They keep coming when I'm not home too. Grrrr! Now they can't come until the 18th. As far as I'm concerned Qwest and Mediacom are both the same and I hate the fact that I need to pay them for services I enjoy. O_o Does that sound funny? >_> *laughs!*
Now that I'm done with my ranting I'm going to read some Order of the Stick and head off to bed. Thanks for letting me borrow the books Rendiani! ^_^

Moving, Living And Of Course Laughing
First off, I must write about my trip to the cities that was. . . a month ago. Shame on me for not getting that done.
I had a blast and let me tell you, that bank in Owatonna is mighty fine! O_O I wish I could bank there! I would love to work there, but maybe the awe would eventually disappear because I would see the splendor every day. I'm glad my chef invited me to come because I had a blast meeting her friends and seeing that beautiful structure. I know for a fact that you will betting an A in that class my talented chef!
Then I went with Char to continue my weekend of fun! Let me tell you, we played a lot of Wii, or Wilbii, as I like to call her. She is my second female electronic device. ^_^ Futune, is of course, the first. So Thursday night we just chilled and then on Friday we went snow tubing! OMG, that was a blast! Like I mentioned in the post before this I had a major wipe out, but it's all good. My backside hurt for a few days, but not too badly. *laughs* One of the guys that worked there was a super spinner. Wow, was it a rush toward the end of the day when the runs became icy. Imagine, spinning down a big hill going super fast and below is some bad padding to stop you. ^_^ Quite the rush and quite invigorating! Thank you for wanting me to come and do that Char!
On Friday I finally got to meet Mike, the guy I met on geek2geek.com. He is quite the gentleman. This was a date and I figured he would pay for dinner and I will tell you it was quite difficult for me to hold my tongue and not say, "I'll pay for myself." I've come to realize guys like doing that. *sighs* He even paid for Char, since she joined us. That worked out quite well really. I felt comfortable around him anyway, but having that extra person to talk to made things easier. We went to a neat little restaurant called The Chatterbox. You can play old NES, SNES, Genesis & Atari games there for a buck. I don't know how long you have to play, but it is a cool idea. Not only can you play classic vid games, but you can bring a board game to your table to play while you wait for your food. That is free, but we didn't do that either because we were too busy talking. I had a great time and I know he did too. At the end I think he wanted to hug me, but it just didn't pan out because it was such an awkward moment. The first of the evening really, but he did say, "Next time we will have to play a game." Woot, second date in my future. ~_^
Saturday Char and I went shopping. *clears throat* Char, you sure have a knack of spending my money for me. *laughs* Best Buy ended up being a VERY dangerous place for me. That is where we met Meggles. We then went back to Char's and all 3 of us played Wilbii. They both had a ton of fun and I'm glad. Meggles, I know you were worried about bothering us, but trust me babe, you added to the fun! ^_^ Never worry about being a bother. After having a few good laughs with the Wii we went to dinner at Appleflies. Hmmm, fried flies FTW! They have this 3 platter thing now, so I ordered mini cheesburgers (not all that mini), Spinach dip w/ chips and shrimp. It's kind of an odd combination, but it was good. Next time I think I will get the mozzarella sticks instead of the dip. I love spinach dip, but for some odd reason this dip just didn't hit the spot. It was still good mind you, just not super. After dinner we went to see "Horton Hears a Hoo." That movie is quite adorable. The acting and animation were both done well. I would not buy it, but if it was on TV I would stop and watch it.
After all the fun I had of making mochas, seeing movies, playing in snow and going on dates it was time to go home. It was a great vacation away from here! *big grin*
Now, on to some current news. I am moving at the end of May. Fortunately, I will be moving a few blocks away, so the move shouldn't be too difficult. Once it hits May, Swiss and I will have been roomies for 2 years! Can you believe it? I can't, time certainly has a way of sneaking by. It has been a good run, but it is time for us to go on our own now. ^_^ I am still looking for a house, but the (pardon my typing) shit holes I have seen do not impress me and the better houses are out of my price range. I have to admit that being one income makes it very difficult to do such things. Once I do find the right house, however, I know that I will not have any problem getting a loan. Wootzorz for awesome credit. . . of DOOOOOM! *evil grin*
Wing chun is still going well. Craig has asked me to help him with a women's safety workshop in June and I said yes. He wants to show women that there are women in martial arts and that wing chun is not a scary thing to learn. Also this summer we are going to work with bamboo sticks! This will teach us to move while doing proper hand movements. What we are learning with bamboo sticks is not wing chun, but Kali, a Fillipino art. *super excited*
Next weekend is Boston's b-day and Meggles is coming, so we can plan our trip! So next weekend will be a good one. I got Boston a nerf gun called the Long Shot. I can't wait to pla. . . . I mean, see him play with it. >_>; I'm sure HE will have a ton o'fun! *nervous giggle*
This weekend went well, or is going well so far. Yesterday, the anime club had another video game/pizza party. Everyone seems to have so much fun! I figure that we can do that twice a year. One in the winter and one in the spring. I have no clue what I'm going to do for the summer. They all want to continue it during the summer, but the library is closed on the weekends. I think they even close at 5 pm on weekdays. Doesn't really work out when I work on the weekdays. I have thought about letting them start meetings by themselves and I could come later, or have them leave the DVDs at the library desk and I could pick it up later. *shrugs* I'm sure we will work it out.
Well, I believe that updates my life for a bit. Now I should go clean my room. . . or play WoW. >_> Ok, ok, I'll clean. *sigh* Has to be done sometime, might as well be now. ^_^

So Far. . .
This weekend is going super! I am having a blast!
Yesterday we went to see the bank that was designed by Louis Sullivan. Man is that place super gorgeous. Lucky people who get to bank there!
Today we went snowtubing and I did a flip that ended in a major wipeout. ^_^ Ga ha ha ha! Pretty fun!
Tonight we are going to Chatterbox, which is a dinner/eat out place to meet a guy I have been talking to on the net.
This was meant to be quick, now I have to get dressed, braid my hair and head out. There will be more on my weekend sometime soon. I won't promise a day because that never works for me.

Everybody Was Kung Fu Fighting!!!
Last night I went to my wing chun class and I learned that I will be learning a new style. ^_^ Craig, the teacher, says that when he went to see his old teacher and touched his hands he realized he would not be able to learn much more from him. Soooo, now he has found a new teacher. Apparently this guy is a master of wing chun and tai chi. Pretty impressive. Craig says he can tell that he will never be able to surpass his new teacher. That will be good for him and us. We also will be able to meet his teacher which will be really neat! I'm super excited to start this new style. Should be pretty interesting!
And I have had a request to show Buddy, so someday I shall put a pic of him up KD. He's soooooooo kawaii! Apparently now you can even put video up on here. . . I think only from youtube.com, but that would work since I have an account there. ^_^
Last. . . hmmm, Tuesday I went and saw the movie Jumper. I was a bit worried that it was going to be a bad movie, but I love things about teleporting and it turned out to be a decent movie! Another movie I am now curious about is Juno. At first I thought it was something stupid like Knocked Up, but that looks like a good one too.
This weekend I am going to take Boston to the Spiderwick Chronicles. We are both super excited to see it. ^_^ I love having a munchkin to see kid movies with! I read the first five books, so I hope I won't be disappointed. >_>; I tend to be a book snob when I see movies like that. For instance, Eragon was horribly painful for me to watch. O_O They shouldn't have even put it in theaters, or on DVD, or as a TV movie. that is how painful that movie was to me. I literally CRINGED during most of the movie. *laughs* But anyway, I am looking forward to the Spiderwick Chronicles. I'll tell you all how it was. ^_^

I Want A Golden Little Bald Man!
Wouldn't it be the neatest experience in the world to get an award like an Oscar? Yes, once again I watched the Oscars all the way through. It has become tradition for me to do so and I find it quite enjoyable.
When I was a wee child I would dream of winning one when I got older. However, I doubt it will ever happen now. It's not really one of my goals anymore really. ^_^ A more realistic goal would be to stand on the sidelines of the red carpet, or maybe get a ticket to see them. The ticket thing is more unrealistic, but one can dream. Just like I would love to go to E3!
A bummer for me was that Johnny Depp didn't win for Sweeney Todd. Quite the shame since he did such a super job! Plus, the guy who did win has already won an Oscar. :( Come on, they should have given it to Mr. Depp IMO. *nods*
I also wish that Transformers would have won special effects. How could you not get an award for making huge robots that transform into stuff. *sigh* Golden Compass won the award. I never did see it, but the special effects in Transformers made my jaw drop. They gave the robots, especially Bumblebee, such personality! A difficult thing to do when their faces are like masks and show no emotion. *puts drama mask on*
Anyway, it was fun and I can't wait to see what next year will bring. I doubt any of the winners would ever see this little blog in cyberspace, but congrats to all of you!

How Could You Edit Joyous Johnny?!
Before I begin I would like to say, I knew this and this is why I never bought CDs from Wal-Mart.
Ok. A couple Mondays ago I went to see the movie Sweeney Todd: Demon Barber of Fleet Street. What can I say? I loved it, that movie is right up my alley. >_>; Yes, I know I'm morbid and a little demented. Alison keeps telling me so and I agree. Anyway, this entry is not about my fascination with death it is about Wal-Mart. Yes so , Johnny Depp is awesome and always does such a fantastic job of playing. . . would odd be an appropriate choice of words? Or perhaps psycho? Meh, eccentric. Yes, I like eccentric. And Alan Rickman! Hello! I adore him and this will be a movie I shall own when it comes out on DVD.
Since I loved the movie and the music so much I thought it would be super awesome to own the CD. I went to Wal-Mart (forgetting) super excited with the fact that I would be a proud owner of the fantastic music in the movie. How awesome it would be to have that music on Futune (ipod)! *clears throat* I went to electronics, which is like a second home to me and happily found the Sweeney Todd soundtrack. *sigh* But alas, there was no parental warning. O_o I boggled at it. How could this particular soundtrack not have a warning? Well, that is when I remembered that Wal-Mart is weird about their music and they edit the CDs they sell. -_-
I mean, WTF Wal-Mart? If you are going to do it to one form of media, then why not movies or dare I say. . . video games? I think it is great that there are parental warnings, but honestly do we really think that editing out the swearing is going to make a better society? Don't kids hear worse language in school and/or at home? I don't think Wal-Mart should be my parent. I am 27 years old and when I can't buy a CD in it's original form AND this is the only store in town to buy from, it kind of pisses me off. Yeah, edit that Wal-Mart!
Just to let you know, I was somewhat upset and I think it is worth writing about, but I'm not super angry. It hardly even dampened my day. It was just. . . frustrating. :D

I'm A PVPer
*laughs* Doesn't that sound funny? For those of you who don't know, and I think that is both of you, pvp is player vs. player. On World of Warcraft you can do battlegrounds, which can be like capture the flag, or arena, which is beat the snot out of the other team to win. Mostly I do the BGs (battlegrounds), but recently I started to do arena.
*sigh* I tend to hate arena since I don't have the proper gear for it. Gear is basically your armor. ^_^ Lalique, spin around for the good readers to show off your cool robe and stuff. . . wait, you can't see him. Hmmmmmmm. Perhaps I will have to screen cap him. Especially when I get his spellfire robes! Ooooooo! *excited* So yes, my gear is cool, but not cool enough so I don't die immediately. :P Apparently Katan & Vaydin died for 2-3 months straight, but now they are uber awesome. So, there is hope for me yet.
Battlegrounds are usually fun for me, unless you get people who do not understand the concept of DEFEND!!! *laughs* And! About 2-3 times I have been #1 out of my side, the horde. I love when that happens. The way you become *puts up index finger* #1 is to do more damage than anyone else, or kill more people! ^_^ Tee hee! And I have also been raid leader sometimes. That means you are leader of 10-40 people, depending what battleground you are in. The points you get from battlegrounds are season one gear and arena you can get season 2 & 3.
Also in WoW news I have been debating whether, or not I should get keyed up for Karazhan, which is a dungeon you can run through with a guild. That would be fun, but raids take so long. Sometimes they have lasted 6-7 hours! Who has time for that???
Well, I am off to pick up my laundry and to go play with Buddy! *snuggles Buddy* Who's a cutey? Who's a cutey??? You are! Yes you are! *puts Buddy down*

New Year, New Look!
Well, I missed my blogs b-day which was on Feb. 2. ^_^ But I will have you know that I did remember!
So, what do you think of the new look? I finally broke down and chose a new template. It has been years now since I started blogging and it was just time for a new decor. I like it. However, I would like something less. . . uniform, but beggars can't be choosers!
Recent events in my life? Well, I started an anime club. Very fun and the people who come really seem to enjoy it. I love sharing my love of anime with other people especially ones who are somewhat new to it. It is somewhat amusing since at least 3 of them are going through the Multi-media program I did in college.
I have also started to Wing Chun Kung Fu class. So far it has been an excellent experience and I will be able to defend myself if need be. The teacher is a retired cop and he has had experience in different kinds of martial arts, but his two favorites are Wing Chun and Jujitsu. Apparently there is a camp they have every other year and that is definitely something I would really like to save up for. This year it is going to be in Buffalo, NY.
This year, Meg and I plan on going to Disney World and so far things are falling into place. I'm just basically waiting to see if I get the vacation time I asked for. Once that is confirmed then Meg and I can plan, plan and plan some more!
Big news with my parents! They have a new puppy! His name is Buddy and he is from the litter that Katey and Connor had. So he is a black and white English Springer Spaniel. He is quite cute, but he sure has an attitude. I'll get pics up sometime. ^_^
So that is my update. I know I make this promise all the time, but I'll try to write here more. I mean, how could I not with a new look and all. :P
