The Monday After Thanksgiving

Happy Belated Thanksgiving! I really had a nice Thanksgiving with my little family. It was kind of different not having Uncle Roy not there, but it was still fun and pleasant. I ate soooooo much! Mmm, mashed potatoes! I love em' so darn much I could have eaten them for dessert. Ok, not realy, but when I was a kid I said that often. *grins* After eating dinner I colored with Austin and read him a story. I had a good time and I am bummed that the weekend is over. Oh well, we can't have fun all the time, can we???

I also found out that Kate is having twins! *looks shocked* When she asked me to guess what her news was that never even crossed my mind. I hadn't seen her in a while and maybe if I had I could have guessed. *smiles*

I caught a ride back to Bemidji with Char and she kept saying that I should have children. *makes a funny face* I told Meg that Char said that and Meg agrees. Yes, I might be a good mother, but I don't particularily think it would work. I never wanted children. Even when I was a child I never thought babies were cute and I never ooed and ahed over the little clothes. I don't have motherly instincts. I may be patient, but you need more than just patience to raise a child. I alos don't see myself with children because my career would take up most of my life. It wouldn't be fair to the little munchkin. For a while I didn't see myself getting married, but I see that as a possibility someday. I would like to get married, but not have children. I don't think that is weird and it sounds like a nice life.

Wow, I started to ramble! Sorry about that! Anyway, my day is going fine. Steve S. is not here today, so I don't have my 2 o'clock class. Yay! I am kind of bummed because I wanted to see what everyone else did with their newspaper logos. *shrugs* Oh well, this just gives me time to ramble at you. Squee ha ha ha!

Well, off I go to work on stuff. Go homework. *waves a flag with a homework sucks logo on it*
