Drunk Spiders

Well, it is almost the end of the semester and I am a very happy girl. For one thing, I bought myself some music to add to my CD collection. Do curious minds want to know??? Well, I bought FLCL soundtrack and the Azumanga Daioh soundtrack! I cannot wait to receive them!

I saw a couple of movies this last week, or so. Meggles and I went and saw Master and Commander last Monday and The Last Samurai on Friday. Master and Commander is better because as Meggles said, "You care about the characters more." I have to agree. The freindship between the captain and the doctor is great. You could tell they had been friends for a very long time. I also loved the musical score! I think I will have to add that to my list of CDs that I want. I also want to read the books now that I have seen the movie. I'm sure the books are very good and I think it would be good to get away from the fantasy genre for a while. The Last Samurai was good, but it wasn't that good. It kind of reminds me of Dances with Wolves. The main character learns about the other culture and learns the language. Yay. Ok, the thing that bummed me out was that Tom Cruise's character did not die at the end. *rolls eyes* He should have died a gazillion deaths. *shrugs* Oh well, someone had to set the Emperor straight. O_o Unfortunately, it had to be Mr. Cruise. The thing that I did like was hearing Japanese and the fight scenes were fun to watch, especially when Tom got the crap beat out of him.

Today was fun becuase I got to show my "final" web site to the class. I had some good comments on it and some good criticism as well. I showed my flash animation that I did last night and I made people laugh! That warms my heart so much. To hear people laugh and get joy out something you did makes me happy beyond belief. I will continue to work on my web site because it isn't done in my mind and there is a lot more I could do with it. Right now, however, it is one of those progressing projects that will be set aside for a couple of weeks.
