Oscar Mania

Well, the Academy Awards just finished about a half hour ago and thought I would blog about them. Ever since I was a little girl I have watched them from beginning to end. I always dreamed of being there in person, to feel the energy, and to possibly accept an Oscar. That has been one of my many dreams. *smiles* It's a silly dream, but a fun one. When I was young I wanted to win for best actress, but now my dreams have turned to best 3D animation. As many of you know, I wanted to be so many things when I was little, but I think I always leaned toward the arts. It didn't matter if it was singing, acting, or working with animation. I guess what I'm trying to say is, I better start writing my speech. *confident grin*

I was happy to see that Chicago won for best picture. I saw it on the big screen and really enjoyed the singing, dancing, and acting. It was a great time and I'm even thinking of getting it on DVD. Hmm, so many things to buy and so little money. *laughs* Oh well, when I become an Oscar winning actress/animator I will be able to afford any DVD I want!
